Best soul food/southern food I've had in the germantown area. Fried chicken was perfect, Mac and cheese and yams the same. The Strawberry Banana pudding is a game changer as well. All the food feels like it was cooked by grandma
Listen, those turkey wings and green beans didn't stand a chance! Absolutely amazing!
The catfish fillet was fresh and delicious. Made me a second piece. The sweet potato fries were good and the peach cobbler was great. My only complaint is the tea is a bit too sweet...but that's really the only negative I can find. I'd definitely want to eat here again.
Let me Say!!!! Omg! Was mad I didn't get to go back and get the shrimp and Salmon! But ohhhhhh I will be getting when I come back to Memphis yes Ma'am! This place is fire! I need them to have some lemonade though who don't have lemonade in the south!!?
Good food, excellent customer service. I had the chicken and dressing with collard greens. Greens were seasoned well, and also the chicken.

????? The food is always amazing but today I found out that the customer service is as well! I ordered via Door Dash and didn’t receive all of my food. Raquel called me personally and had one of the MFY employees deliver the missing items. Now that’s service! #TurkeyNeckTuesday ☺️
Today was my 1st time eating here. I was thoroughly pleased with everything I ordered. Portion sizes were great and the food was seasoned well without loads of salt and Accent. I will order from here several times a week. Raquel, the owner, is very personable, down to Earth & easy to talk to. She informed me about her meal prep and catering services I will definitely utilize. I ordered meat loaf, mashed potatoes & collard greens! And NO they were NOT Glory greens??
Very kind and professional family owned business. Large portions and well seasoned. I ordered the tri bean trio, cabbage and a giant chicken turkey wing! The taste was exactly what I was craving. Taste like my momma and gramdma home cooking. These people are genuinely kind, I know this food is cooked with love. Everything was five star down to the taste and service. UPDATE: the owner contacted me, apologized, and offered to remake my complete order. This all happened on a “snow day” and they were very short staffed. MFY has done a great job and exhibited amazing customer service.
