Went for my birthday. The food was good and the surprise at the end was great. Had a fun night.
Got chewed out by staff today because I asked about the price of my order. First off, waitstaff shouldn't get attitudes with customers because they ask a question of the person at the register. Second, if you want to talk about tips, when your not tipped think about how you treat people knowing full well your restaurant charges a service fee with a sign behind the register counter stating that the restaurant does so to ensure fair and quality service to everyone. This is far from the case here, and does not solve anything that you restaurant owners and managers might wish to engender.Third, if there are charges for extra items, state this in your menus like other establishments; no one is a mind reader last time I checked. Fourth, the sign outside the restaurant says "Under New Management." In the last 6 weeks they are now on their 3rd Manager; Destiny was the first, then she left; Chris was the second, and he's still there I think but informed today that he's not the Manager, but Cliff is...and he must have just been promoted since last Friday, because Chris was the Manager then. This place was great when they opened and did well until the last 5 or so months, and it really just plain stinks now. I'm tired of being insulted, being served food with items on it that I asked to keep off of my order, long waits to get a refill of tea, cold food and a general attitude from people there that my business doesn't matter to them. Well, today broke it with me, and because off the extra charges, I came up short by 2.42 because I had a budget of what i could spend. So, Cliff calls the man who was the first Manager there (Adrian), who Cliff says told him that from now on, I'm to pay for my order upfront before I am served.We'll, ya'll don't have to worry about my business anymore because I'm taking it elsewhere and will never return again. You all are a total disgrace!!
We take pride in Mexican food being from Texas and when we came across this place we were extremely surprised. How incredibly tasty. It was. Great wait staff and great food. Wonderful margarita.
Worst Mexican food I've ever had. Only reason I tried it was because it was next to the gym and I knew everything else would be closed by the time I drove. I ordered an enchilada plate and a combination plate with tostada, chalupa, and tamale with NO VEGGIES ON ANYTHING. I got a plate full of broken, soggy shells with a mount of veggies. I dug off the veggies to find I was left with no more cheese. Everything was thrown on top of each other. I dug and found the blandest tamale I've had and was dry. I gave up and just mixed it all together and ate it like a dip. I questioned why chalupa and tostada were listed seperately. There version of tostadas is a bag of chips. Enchilada sauce tastes like ketchup with chili pepper. Oh and the food was barely warm (it was not even 10 minutes before I started eating it and it was all packaged). It was also $28 for this which included a mandatory service charge, to go charge, and credit card fee.Drinks must be good because idk who would go for the food unless they've just never had good Mexican food. Very disappointing.
Went from eating here very often to NEVER AGAIN!!! I bought my usual baked potato and one of the meats were spoiled. Chip were stale but luckily I had my own to enjoy the salsa which seemed to be the only thing safe to eat, hopefully! So happy I didn’t get my children anything from here this time! Can scratch this restaurant off the safe list!
My wife and I came with a group. It was 10 of us. We didn't get greeted for several minutes. Apparently, the restaurant was extremely short staffed. We attempted to be patient. Our party had two different waitresses. My wife and I sat at the smallest occupied table. Our table didn't receive water for over 20 plus minutes. Our mouth was on fire after eating chips and salsa. When our food arrived 30 plus minutes later, it was Ice COLD. I left the table to find the manager. When I finally found her, she was bartending. She had a VERY nasty attitude and was not helpful. We came to a Conclusion after our experience that we will NOT patronize there again. I wa being generous with 1 star.
I ordered what my server suggested after I asked what to get and I was hungry. It was great and reasonably priced. I even had leftover. It was a fajita plate not actually fajitas. Beef chicken and shrimp with rice cheese peppers onions and salsa on side. I ordered extra jalapeños no extra charge for pickled ones. Extra charge if you want them grilled. The restaurant was busy and it took a little while for the order to be ready. Well worth the few minutes.
Slow service! We were seated waited forever. When the waitress came she took our drink orders. Came back maybe 20 minutes later with 2/4 drinks. Said she was gonna wait to bring the alcohol until we order our food…. Everything on the menu that says “new” next to it are not available to order, so we had to change out order. I just decided to not order anything.
Visited 03/02/2022 around 7pm. Waited long for everything. The waiter performed the minimum, but was endearing.
The food was okay and the service sucked. They overpriced and top flight security needs to get a life. I will never go there again.
