It was very authentic and tasty food. I had the three taco lunch with my choices made from staff suggestions. They did not steer me wrong. My wife had the pulled pork nachos and a bowl of their soup. Both were tasty. Portions of nachos and soup were very fair and Tacos were fair in size as well. If we come back, we will definitely visit again.
Best casual Mexican restaurant downtown with reasonable prices and the friendliest staff. Highly recommend the nachos, tortas, guacamole, and gazpacho salad. Also don't miss the tamales available on weekends. No liquor, just bottled beer. Dine-in seating available upstairs with complimentary chips and salsa.
Fantastic freshly made Mexican food. We were staying nearby and wanted a quick bite. Probably over ordered ad we got complimentary chips n dip A taco each, my spicy shrimp was fantastic. And then a delicious tinga tostada with nachos to share. Really good , up there with the best I’ve eaten. Try it if you are in the area. Shuts at 8pm so go early
Great place for some street tacos.. Perfect for grab and go or to sit and eat. If you're going to dine in, head upstairs where the area is more open and the view is better. The wait staff will bring you chips and queso and will refill your drinks while you wait for them to bring your order to you.Overall, great value for the money. Pretty impressed with the flavors which are simple but delicious.
Just to start this out as honestly as i can, we had just gotten out of a 6+ hour long drive so we were hungry and sorta didn't care about what to get just knew we wanted food! With that being said this food was amazing, we both got the Veggie Burrito and a fountain drink. Food didn't take long to get to us, we were seated upstairs, which on its own is a completely different experience that we weren't expecting, you walk into a small entrance where you can see the cooks making the orders and you place your order at the counter, not gonna lie the downstairs isn't much to look at but I do appreciate being able to see the cooks, not for security or anything, just because you don't see that too often. After you make your order you're walked upstairs and seated in this very nice large room with many tables chairs and even a bar! We came towards the middle of the day so we didn't experience any drinks unfortunately. Beautiful space, great design and lots of natural lighting, the atmosphere was very nice and refreshing. The food, now the food was super surprising not to say that we're expecting it to be bad but in my experience anything Veggie or vegetarian usually has a tendency of being a bit bland and or being filled with lettuce where the meat would've been, which is sad because that means many places rely heavily on meat to bring the flavor, but our burritos were so delicious! The burritos had lots of flavor with nothing overpowering anything but instead everything complimenting everything else rather well, they had actually used potatoes in the burritos as the protein replacement and i was very much elated at that, because let's be honest you can do so much with potatoes and they absolutely paired well in the burrito, I personally don't like spicy anything so when I saw jalapeños I was a bit worried, but they're actually pickled jalapeños with other vegetables and they added such a fresh taste and nice bite I was very much pleasantly surprised. The dish was served with beans and rice both of which were also delicious nothing too much to say about them but very good sides. I definitely recommend this place, prices are actually low for food this good! Definitely stop by and try!
Everything was delicious. My wife said the spicy fish tacos were mind-blowing. I had the only two vegetarian tacos I could find, the avocado and the potato ones and they were great too. I would encourage them to add a soymeat version to their menu.
Excellent food, outstanding customer service! We brought a bus group of 70+ high school students and parents through Memphis this week and ordered Maciel’s delivery. They made the whole experience nothing short of amazing. Communication was fantastic, and they accommodated our group in several ways, including labeling each meal with individual names to make distribution a breeze. The food was hot and waiting when we arrived to our destination, and it was absolutely delicious. Maciel’s did everything to make the whole process easy. I can’t recommend them enough!
I've become a regular for delicious tacos, friendly workers, and speedy service. Whether it's dine-in or take out, I have never been disappointed in ordering/eating here. No fuss or frills solid food.

Great spot for a quick, affordable and tasty meal in downtown Memphis. Needed some meat-free options for Lent and we got some yummy shrimp tacos quickly here. Kids got some nachos and tacos as well made-to-order (without the veggies) so they were happy.
