The location is wrong

I love visiting here. There was quick and friendly service. The place has a good atmosphere. They have so many reviews for a reason.

Arrived at seven, it wasn't crowded. I'll return with my coworkers. Prices are appropriate for the quality.

Got there near seven, it wasn't very crowded. I will be back with my relatives. Bring your hunger - portions are generous. They have a lot of good reviews for a reason.

Never wasn't there

Easily the best BLT I have ever eaten. They have a special way of preparing it which makes it awesome. The rest of the menu is good too and the service warm and friendly.

This restaurant never disappoints me. I ate one of the best Shrimp and grits ever last Easter Sunday special menu. Everything is carefully paired between the dishes and even the lemonade. The lemonade is amazing! It is sweeten with honey and this last Sunday was Peach Lemonade with a fresh mint. I also ordered deep fried brussel sprouts, another finding. The regular menu is also great! The tomato relish is a bomb! If you are in downtown Memphis, just visiting, please have lunch there. You will never forget this experience.

We saw this place on tv and wanted to try it with high expectations. Seemed like a great place to support. We arrived just after they opened and the waitress and cook hardly seemed as if they were glad to have us there as sit-down patrons. While things might be fresh cooked it took almost 50 minutes for our meal to be served, which is a long time to wait for lunch. It is a very small place. Others came in for take-out and were greeted warmly. We had the Broken Rib Bones and the Third Period Smoking Birds sandwiches with the veggie slaw as a side. There's a bit of a school theme. We were there on a weekend and area seemed isolated. It is in an industrial area without much else around, but we were able to park in big lot right next to it. I respect all the good reviews; the food was good and creative, but given that the staff didn't seem to really care we were patrons, even after we told them we saw them on TV and were glad to try it, and the amount of time it took to get our food, I don't think we will return.

The Lunchbox is such a cool concept! You go inside and you’re immediately transported back to grade school! The decor is school lab tables and desks with letters and blackboards. When you get your menu it’s printed on notebook paper and your order is filled out on a quiz sheet. So much fun! Lots of very edgy food combinations but the chef delivers and the flavors are amazing. My lunch of meatloaf was great! I recommend you try this place if you’re ready to try some great food and a fun atmosphere!
