I never would have thought that the best tacos I’d ever have in my life would come from Memphis Tennessee… but they did. Pepe (the owner) was so sweet and helpful. I ordered the shrimp tacos and a side of corn. It was amazing. 10/10. Thank you Pepe ❤️

Was visiting Memphis and went here to eat with some business friends. Great food, large servings, very fresh and traditional. Definitely will be going back next time I visit.

Love love love las tortugas! Everything I have ever ordered has been amazing every time! If you’re a tea lover I recommend the tesote!

My first time to the new location (or one of the new locations), and it was really nice inside. It looks similar to the Germantown one and is a very bright and inviting decor. The food is every bit as good as you'd expect from Las Tortugas Deli Mexican, and if you haven't tried it before you really need to. This is a whole other level of Mexican food. It's fresh and tasty without a single refried bean in sight!

Upon landing in Memphis, we knew very little about where to eat. After asking a few newfound friends, we were led to Las Tortugas a neat little restaurant tucked away in the corner of a stripmall-ish building in Germantown. We were a little undecided about what to get so the owner, joined us, coming out from behind the counter to give us an overview of the menu. We chose a few items to try and then Pepe was back to have us try some of the different salsas and sauces. We felt so special and welcomed. Our food arrived quickly and we dove into our carnitas and al pastor. The food was so fresh and the flavors so tasty. We knew immediately that we'd be back again.

Absolutely fantastic. Food was perfect. Staff was very helpful as this was our first time here. Would definitely describe this place as unpretentious. Staff always had a smile on and made us feel very welcome.

My co-worker, who is a “food connoisseur” and so far has made 5 solid recommendations, came to me the other day claiming he tasted one of the top 5 sandwiches he’s ever had. $20 for a sandwich is a tall order for a work lunch, but the “de Cameron” is one heck of a sandwich! We were busy, so the sandwhich sat on my desk for a few hours before I got to it, and I still thought it was an amazing sandwich cold.

Very good food, but not sure it’s a do over for us.Tasty, but wow, the prices are in line with what you get. $88 for a family of six, three kids had cheese quesadillas, no drinks. The guacamole was very different, creamy, with a spice. Very nice touch. The tortilla chips are cut small and made from flour tortillas.4 stars on quality and flavor, 1 star deduction for the pricing.Had to take the kids to Chick-fil-A after spending $88…

The food is so tasty here- my only wish is they would use 2 tortillas per taco… mine fell apart because the one is just too flimsy. Plus the street size is soooo small that that extra bit of tortilla would make the meal more satisfying. The plate is 17 bucks plus over 3 bucks for a can of soda… I can’t go there often, but I will go back because the quality is amazing!

Loved the fresh simple ingredients and flavors. Authentic tacos and delicious chips.
