Very flavorful food. Good service. Great guacamole appetizer.

What a delicious dining experience! I had read many positive reviews and they didn't steer me wrong. Within a minute of being seated a basket of in restaurant made chips and a carafe of salsa was placed at my table. I was slow to place my order because I couldn't decide what to choose, but my waitress was patient and checked on me several times until I was ready to order. For my lunch I had an order of guacamole, the pork taco, and the fish taco. Both tacos were well seasoned and tasty. I was originally going to order 3 tacos, but 2 with the guacamole and chips was plenty of food. The guacamole was full of flavor and had a little kick to it. I loved it. As you can see in the pic this wasn't the whipped guacamole, but good sized chunks of avacado with tomatoes onion and seasonings.I'm visiting from out of town and ate lunch here before walking over to the Dixon Gallery and Gardens. If I'm ever back in Memphis I will be returning to Las Delicias!PS: Sorry for no pic of the tacos. I dug in and I was many mouthfuls in before realizing I forgot to take a pic. ?

This restaurant is having discriminative on practices. They refused to serve my friend alcohol because she has an out of state license. Then later we find out that someone else was served alcohol with an Ohio license. This policy makes no sense and is apparently not consistent between servers. Also different races was a factor in this so that tells me something right there, unfortunately. Las D is a favorite and a Memphis classic. I’m so disappointed.

Great atmosphere! Authentic food and the best chips and salsa in the city!

We came to celebrate my cousins birthday we called before and asked if they had a table... she said when will you be here .. we told her 15 minutes..she said yes we will have one..so we went git there at 745 ...and they told us that there wasn't a seat that it would be about 30 minutes... they sat us at 8:08 ... then we ordered a beer and a pitcher of matgaritas..got our salasa..ordered 2 large cheese dips and large gaucamole..guacamole... theb she came out and said you need to order now we close at 9!!! Well..ok..so we all ordered got our food at 8:41.. when she finally came out to bring us some stuff that was missing we asked for another pitcher..we were told no..we can't serve anything past 845!!!! Then they proceeded to start coming out gathering stuff as we were having to shove our food down... then we were calculating the bill at 915 between the 6 of us and the man came out and said is there a problem??? Ummm no..were splitting the bill..well I have to charge you for 2 salsas because only 2 are on the house.. he took our ticket back and added 9.80 for 2 small salsas!!! We walked out at 9:24! This was the rudest experience I've ever had at a Mexican restaurant.. usually the atmosphere is great ..this was my 1sr and last time going here!

Absolutely worst customer service I’ve ever experienced. Eat here all the time, this is my last night getting food from las delias.. very rude. I’ll be glad to take my business elsewhere.

The food was delicious, and the service was fast, friendly, and professional. Our order was taken promptly, and delivered to our table very quickly. The entire restaurant was very clean.A great place for the entire family.I highly recommend Las Delicias, and will definitely be returning there soon!

You may not even need to order any food, the chips and salsa alone are outstanding! We ordered a pitcher of margaritas, because obviously why not! All of the main dishes we ordered were fantastic as well. My Cuban torta was cooked perfectly and had great flavors throughout. My wife had the quesadilla and described it as one of the best she's ever had. We come here fairly often and are always impressed with the service and quality of food. Definitely one of the best Mexican restaurants in Memphis

My torta asada was only i am in meeting call you back later, I only asked to leave the beans out. This s usually what I ask for when I come here and it was below standard. I’m sitting on the toilet all night because it made me so sick. My Husband ordered Fajitas he got Alambres. The drinks were so water down it was drinking water with color. I use to love the food at this place first time back since the pandemic and it was a horrible experience. The waitress seemed to be in a bad mood which didn’t help. I’m really surprised and taken back from this meal. Hopefully they look into this and make sure we are dishing out quality food.

The chicken burrito is awesome. Yum
