Fix your restrooms.the food was good the ribs were a bit tuff and the dressing needs work. But the people were super friendly and It was nice visiting from OKC.

This food is so good!! It tastes just like what your grandma would cook at home. Everything is fresh and seasoned well. The chicken wasn’t cooked too hard and the peach cobbler was so tasty. The staff was pleasant and the restaurant was very clean. I highly recommend stopping by this place when visiting Memphis!
My husband and I went today for the first time. It definitely won’t be our last. The person that greeted us and took the meat order was so nice that she could be a manger at Chic fila. There was plenty of food. Lots of choices. Hot, fresh, and good enough to be mine. They didnt skimp on anything at all. 10 stars!
This place is fabulous! We left full and happy. We had the turkey leg and dressing and the smothered pork chop. All the sides were tasty too. Wish we lived closer.

Such a great local restaurant! I stopped there with my mom and aunt on our way across country. We ordered the bbq chicken plate and smothered pork chop plate with the collard greens, candied yams, Mac n cheese, and corn bread. Definitely some of the best bbq we’ve ever had and the service was just as good! A must stop if you’re visiting the Memphis area
I order the meal with two hamburger steaks because I am used to them being small at other locations. The hamburger steaks here are huge and plentiful. My sides were spaghetti and cabbage which was also delicious. I am anxious to head back to try more of the menu.
First timer here...The food was flavorful and the portion size was filling. I ordered fried chicken, yams and green beans. The servers were nice but in a hurry. No time to really look over the options because they were rushing the line but understandable. It was a late lunch so a few of the menu items were no longer available. Price was appropriate. I will go back and hopefully I beat the lunch rush.
Ok you guys this is a place that doesn't play in the kitchen. This is real soul food in the Whitehaven AKA Black Haven... This is where you go to if you want you body filled with good home cooked food. If you coming to Memphis this is a good place to come check out.
