Stopped in to see what all they had and I was greeted by a lovely lady by the name of Melinda with a smile and a positive attitude. I had the BBQ Bologna sandwich, fries and a tea. Food was hot and delicious. Tons of wrestling memorabilia to see and enjoy. Not bad pricing either. Definitely worth the time to stop in!!
husband and I had ribs and pulled pork, it was very delicious. The staff was very nice and informative. The band they had playing was fantastic
It was ok. The food wasn't bad. The prices are very pricey. Told them I had a allergy to cold slaw and brought it out with my food anyway. Plus we saw they charged us a 18% service charge. While visiting Tennessee we never been charged anything like this before. Bathroom were a mess. My lady friend couldn't even use it. The wait time for the food was terrible! The waitress we had was sweet but everyone else was slow. Cool wrestling paraphernalia all along the walls.
First bar we hit Sat. 5/15/2022 around 8:30. $5 cover. Thirty people in the bar. Band starts playing (non-blues tunes I never heard of, nor a genre I enjoyed) and all but ten patrons empty out. I like funk, rap, blues, soul, gospel, R&B. This was none of the above. Could not understand a single lyric. The sound system was that bad. Stayed for a second beer hoping for improvement. Not! Got up and left. F the cover. Dropped another $5 at the Rum Boogie Cafe. That joint was hoppin’ and the band was positively smokin’!!
Horrid place that needs to teach their employees customer service skills. My husband and I stopped in here for drinks, because he is a huge wrestling fan, but the bartender seemed to be MIA. When she finally made an appearance, she was less than friendly. Got a couple of drinks, then she was MIA again!! We sat forever waiting on her, so we could settle our tab and leave. The place needs a complete overhaul…decor and employees. Such a disappointment.
Absolutely disgusting and dirty. Bathrooms had not been cleaned in no telling how long as the women's bathroom was completely out of everything, all stalls were dirty and one toilet even had mold growing so you know it hadn't been cleaned in a long time. I would absolutely hate knowing my name was attached to this restaurant, if I was Mr. Lawler. The ONLY thing we ordered that tasted eatable was the fried pickles.
This restaurant was not on my list, but we were hungry and did not want to wait at the restaurant next door, so we gave it a try and were not disappointed. We had the BBQ Sampler Plate ($18) which had pulled pork, 4 ribs, and came with coleslaw and fries. We liked the band that was playing that night as well. The service was not the fastest, but the server was friendly. It was a busy night. For desert I went with the server's suggestion and got the homemade strawberry cake. It was AMAZING! Would eat here again, just to eat that dessert! Recommended!
The only place on Beale with great music and no cover. The band did beg for tips but no cover. The wrestling pictures are a cool theme. And of course Andy Kaufman
Food was good, the floor was sticky, and a bit pricey. I loved seeing the pictures and belts among the collection there.
Good band, good food with very poor service. We were a party of four. It took over thirty minutes for the waitress to take our order. After ordering the first person got their food after a 30 minute wait. The others got their food after an hour and twenty minure wait. Will not be back.
