Toi many street people approaching the customers cars. The food was good.

They did not have anything in stock except for tenders and wings. Decided on the tenders. They gave me the left over batter bits of chicken skin from the bottom of the fryer, yet charged me full price. The sauce was disgusting and not spicy. First and last time going.
Prices are ridiculous with old food being served. Restaurants if you can't do right by your customers go ahead and go out of business...please. Tried to call corporate and the vm is full.
Lot was very dirty. Trash everywhere. Dumpster in rear of lot was overflowing with garbage and smelled. Needs attention. Does the health departmentever check these places? Chicken was very over cooked and dry. Some customers get fresh others get the stale. Such a shame, Pirtles used to be so good.
Great customer service however sometimes my chicken taste like it's been cooked in oil grease ?
I waited in line behind 1 car for awhile so I decided to go inside & I'm glad I did so then I decided not to eat there at all & that's all I'm gonna say. Health department have y'all been by there in the last year or so I'm just asking
Actually.... Today was a great day to order ( Gizzards ). The taste , texture , and most important the cut of the gizzards were perfect ?. I must say the Jack Pirtle's location on Poplar is by far the best location. Their gizzards are seasoned to perfection. The location on Jackson cut their gizzards TOO BIG ?. Keep up the good work ' Poplar '.
Best fast food chicken sandwhich in the city. Locally owned. Big fat juicy chicken breast! A Memphis tradition.
The Jack Pirtle’s on Thomas street in Memphis, TN has the absolute WORST service. The woman that took my order on 02-23-22 was very rude and had the audacity to rush me while I was attempting to give her my money. Not to mention they were slow af. And, on top of all the bad service, the food was burnt. All of it. She was even rude when I told about the burnt food!! The Jack Pirtle’s on Poplar has the best customer service!!
