Ordered through DoorDash and was highly impressed. I ordered the Vegetable Samosas, Butter Chicken (mild), and some naan bread. So good! I would definitely order again!

The food and service here are both super excellent! I always enjoy my meals here, regardless what I order to eat. I have never been unimpressed or disappointed. Being there with friends made it even better!

Staff was super friendly! We were there during the lunch hour so the buffet was available, and everything was delicious! There were even some dishes I have never had at an Indian restaurant before. The next time I am in Memphis, I will definitely be stopping by India Palace again.

India Palace has been my go-to Indian restaurant for decades. The service might be the best of any restaurant in town. The food is always delicious. My favorite is the lamb meatball masala, but I've tried many other dishes and they never disappointed.

The food is good, not excellent. Service is fast. Misleading servers ask if you would like bread with your meal, but neglect to tell you that there is an extra charge for it. Two of us ordered meals, but only received 1 small dish of rice to share (the dishes each came with rice). When we asked if we could have more rice, they said yes (which I thought we each should have received our own bowl of rice). They neglected to inform us that it would be an extra charge (& we neglected to ask). Very sneaky. We ate there on a Monday evening, so it wasn't very crowded. Their storage area is in the same room as you are dining. (plastic & styrofoam containers, utensils, bags, etc). Felt like we were eating in the storeroom.

Confession. Returning to Memphis and leaving the vast number of ethnic restaurants in the San Francisco Bay area has been a major disappointment. Even the sub-par restaurants in the Bay Area exceed most of the restaurants in the area. We decided to visit India Palace because it was touted as the best Indian food in Memphis. If that is a true statement, I won't try another Indian restaurant. My favorite dish was the Basmati rice. Does that tell you something. The buffet was lackluster with just a few choices, mostly chicken in sauces. Staff was not welcoming, pointing to a table for us to seat. No samosas, tandoori chicken, anything extra for a variety of dishes. I realize that restaurants are experiencing challenges but this food did not work for me. Even the naan was bland. The buffet just seemed half-hearted. No return visit for us.

They are serving pulao in name of biryani, I ate their biryani two times and got disappointed both times. This time we asked for medium spicy but it was too hot. Samosa was ok. The biryani taste like you put all the masalas randomly and boil the rice in it. I think you are ruining the concept of how Indian food tastes. Please get a better chef, you are one of the two Indian options in downtown, you make us feel like avoid Indian food if you want to eat in downtown.

I try to eat something different each time I eat here. Everything is always so good. The wait staff are efficient and accommodating. I think they should spruce the place up, it doesn't look like a palace. Fresh coat of paint. New chairs/booths. But the food and service is great.

Decent place to have Indian food. We had buffet lunch which was just okay. Only one of the three veg. Curry was good. There were no starters/ appetizer. The dessert was cold and looked like they were just taken out of freezer. Naan were fresh though.

We as a family passing by Memphis decided to eat in this restaurant. I had food here before many times but many years back. This time it was shocking. How they can go downhill every way food was outright bad. Buffet was horrible. The price has doubled. I hope things will change for better.
