The onion rings here are different, they're huge but the taste just OK. The burgers were good and the chili is ok, abit too salty. Friendly staff and there's a unique thing that the customers can do in Huey's, blow a tooth pick to the ceiling with a straw, we did it and it's fun!
Hey I went to Huey's Southwind location last night and had the worse experience ever from a racist rude bartender named Erin. My friends and I ordered drinks but they were not made the way we requested so we explained that to Erin who didn't properly greet us when we sat down. Erin proceeds to talk to us in a very rude manner complaining to us about drink order which wasn't right. Erin then started to talk down to us especially to my girlfriend then when she spoke back Erin got belligerent with her saying you not going to talk me any kind of way then told my girlfriend to shut up/stop talking basically like she was a child which did not go well so things escalated were Erin told us to drink our drinks and get the blank out. I asked for the manager who name was Ben hoping that management would fix the situation he at first tried to fix the situation but the bartender kept talking to him about us sitting at the after we talked to him and let things go, Ben then asked us to move from the bar to a table (offering complimentary drinks) because of the bartender yet he told us not to worry about the bartender anymore he would take care of us which was kind of a slap in the face with us because why should we have to move to a table because Erin has an attitude and issue serving us when she caused the problem. As we got ready to leave Ben asked about paying our tab when he already said he would take care of it and offered more complimentary stuff if we moved to a table from the bar but we decided to leave because the experience left a bad feeling with us. On top of that when I tried to take care of the tab that Ben said he was going to be taken care on top of Erin telling us to drink our drink and get out gratuity was added to the ticket but why should we have gratuity when Erin had an attitude and refused to serve us I guess we should pay for bad service and to be talked crazy to by Erin. I would like to hear back from Huey's Corporate to resolve this issue, if not further actions will be taken rather it's a sit in, news outlets and etc because I don't appreciate the the service and the way we were treated during our time at on 4/9/2022. I have been a regular customer to Huey's Southwind for years hate to end my support to a restaurant that I enjoy. Please fix this!!!
We have come to this location for years and often. We have always had pretty good service, However, not only do they seem to be short staffed, but the waitress we had named Kristen wasn't warm or welcoming. We asked for a table to be cleaned and she asked "did we not want to sit at a table across the room that was already cleaned as she was wiping. She was also noticeably nicer/warmer to the white family behind us saying ,"what would you like to order "LOVES?" we still left a tip, but we won't be back anytime soon.

I have been going to this Huey’s ever since it opened. The food is good and the service is friendly and awesome. They always stop by to make sure that my food came out right, that it tastes good and to see if there is anything else I need. Had a great meal at Huey's Southwind. All the hamburgers are always good. My favorite is the Heinz 57 Burger. My favorite sides are the steak fries and giant onion rings. Another favorite meal of mine is the nachos. The employees are helpful and friendly and really do try and make sure you have a enjoyable meal.
Got the food to go. The inside of the bar is dope.I ordered the fried shrimp and was the perfect meal after getting off the plane.Didn't get a 5 star from me because quite honestly the food didn't WOW me, but it was good
Food was good but not great. Service was great. Server was friendly and checked on us frequently... atmosphere was family friendly and different. The one issue is the automatic tipping... not a fan of that at all!! I understand it for large groups but not for just 2 people! The automatic tipping is why I have a 4 star rating.
I had a pretty good experience. Clean restaurant. Great service. Excellent food.They charge an 18% gratuity tip after a certain time, but that's okay since a 20% tip is typically expected. Keep up the good service for that mandatory tip, though!
We were at a wedding in Memphis, and we asked the locals where to eat. 4/5 mentioned Hueys. My family and I are huge sandwiches fans so this place was a perfect fit. When we arrived they were slammed. We had a 30 minute wait. The place had every table seated. We waited our turn and the food did not disappoint. For an appetizer we ordered the friend mushrooms. They were large and very tasty. My husband and I got the Philly Cheese Steak and it was full of flavor. My daughter wanted the traditional Ruben and she was also pleased. My son went with a burger. We were all stuffed. The only thing I would have changed was the intensity of the drink. My husband ordered their version of a Long Island and it was So STRONG he had to dilute it several times to even finish it. I would definitely go back !
