Hyped up. Everyone recommends this place. Went on the advice and it's not as great as they say it is. Burgers came and asked for well done. Not well done! Loaded with pickles mustard ketchup etc and don't State on the menu which is why this was picked. Sorry but not for us.

We had a group of 8 land here for burgers on a Saturday. The greeters, bar tender, and waiters were friendly, helpful, and welcoming. We arrived first and sat at the bar where we quickly got a beer and some iced tea. Then our group had plenty of time to ask questions and order then our food arrived quickly and as ordered. Our burgers were cooked as we ordered them and the toppings were fresh and flavoful. My husband had the sweet potato fires and I opted for the onion rings. The Rings were perfectly battered and cooked but were enormous so I had to cut mine with a knife for easier eating. We would all go back.
Burgers are superb (I had the Madison Avenue), staff are friendly and happy to chat. Great range of beers too. What more could you want?
Sat at bar for late lunch on Mothers Day and had steak sandwhich and wife had thai salad which were great. Live band also which was great!
A much needed break from the craziness and “sorry, our kitchen is closed” that we encountered on Beale Street on Sunday night. The service was excellent—very friendly and attentive server. The food was top notch, particularly the onion rings. On our next trip back from Atlanta to Memphis, we will definitely make a stop at Huey’s!
Good food, good service and good menu. Would definitely go back if I was in Memphis. The prices were great too, you won't be disappointed for a causal meal downtown.
I love ? me some Huey's but tonight I was left speechless. The young lady they had doing the take out orders was stoned out of her mind.She and the manager on duty was rude and didn't care if you could get your food. It was like oh well.
Visiting Memphis and stopped at Huey's for the burgers. It was a great choice.Wonderful atmosphere with a true Memphis vibe.Lots of options in the menu. Vegetarian/vegan friendly by offering black bean and impossible patties.Bar on site and plenty of seating. Service was very fast, we barely had to wait. We were very satisfied with our visit.Servings are big. They have a kids menu. Good place for the whole family located right in downtown.
HUEY LEWIS a great rock star with great taste for good food. Down here in Memphis with the wifey on a road trip to a wedding. I had the old tyme A-1 Burger with tater tots.This Burger is a 10 for sure!! I was hesitant because I didn't want the over abundance of barbecue sauce. But the amount they put on was Just perfect! not overwhelming. taste was amazing! My wife had the potato soup (10) Potatoes were huge flavor was great she said. She also had the salad which was fresh And crisp. Service was a 10, cleanliness was a 10, and the bathrooms were 10. There were also starting Trivia night which we thought was kind of cool.. Great vibe, great atmosphere. Best of all was the price.!! Very affordable!!
