The chicken & steak skewers are good.
Went to Huey's for my 50th birthday dinner and it was amazing! After a long day kayaking on the Ghost River I had worked up quite an appetite! They serve my favorite local beer, Grindhouse by Ghost River Brewing. Appetizer was cheese fries (which I literally could not stop eating) followed by the Bluff City Burger.I was full and happy by the time left! The service was great at usual!
We went here because it was close to where we were staying. The food was pretty good! I had the blue cheese burger with onion rings. The onion rings were MASSIVE. I will say that they were kind of chewy, maybe overcooked, and a little lukewarm when they arrived. The burger was the best part, it was right-sized, we’ll appointed, and delicious! It also wasn’t messy to eat, unlike most of the bigger-than-your-mouth pub-style burgers you come across. I was able to bite it without it falling apart into a drippy, soggy mess. Nicely executed, Hueys! The only negatives were that the restaurant needs a deep clean and a furniture refresh, and the service was just “OK”. Otherwise, pretty good family dinner place for the money.

The waitress was very nice, the food was delicious and restaurant very clean. The guy that brought our food and appetizers was extremely friendly he was great !!! Definitely recommend going I ordered a deluxe grilled chicken sandwich with Swiss it was amazing. Also had cheese sticks for appetizer.
I always get the west coast burger and cut the big onion in 4ths. With fries its a big meal. Good prices, slow staff but its no to bad of a wait. Food is very consistent which is the best selling point.
We came here at the suggestion of a friend who lives locally. Her quote was “I could always eat a Huey’s burger”. It was a delicious burger, I got the Heinz 57 one without mayo, and it had just the right amount of sauce and blue cheese on it. My 7 year old son ordered the catfish basket and ate every bit of the fish, he said it was delicious. My husband got the Bluff city burger and really enjoyed it. He also had sweet potato waffle fries which were good and served with a spicy ranch. Our only complaint was that it seemed like our food sat for a while. It was warm but not hot at all, and the fries were cold. But even just warm and cold it was still good. We would definitely go again.
Came in for lunch today (Thursday morning). I think Morgan was my server and she was AMAZING!!!! We will definitely be asking for her when we return! I got the Senor Huey, it was juicy perfection. get ready to use extra napkins!!! Nick stopped by and we loved speaking to him also so nice and personable. The atmosphere was homie and comfortable.
I always enjoy going to this Huey’s. The staff and bartenders are always friendly with her I am dining in or getting a to go plate. It’s located in a very nice part of town and the restaurant is always clean. I’m sorry I didn’t have a better picture but I ate my burger before I could take the picture before because it was so good!
The two items that make Huey’s the great place it still is. An awesome hamburger and a recipe for onion rings unlike anywhere else. Nothing ever beats a cooked to perfection burger made with quality beef and those onion rings so big and fat. Just look at the pics of the rings, you could wear those things as a bracelet. Lauren ( one of the owners) stopped by to chat with us and the service by Julie was outstanding. Good thing I don’t live close to here or I’d be eating here all the time.
