Shiity service, rude employees, bad vibes. Can’t even get a h20 after spending 30 dollars on a beer, cover and pizza.. unsafe area. Harassed in parking lot..don’t waste your time going in this trashy place. Showers are essentially to going to work also note to employees.
Fugitive Droids, my son's band, held an EP release party at Hi-Tone. It's as advertised, an old dive bar. Eclectic seating but seating - rare in some venues. Not much in liquor selections but the food was really good. We each had a patty melt with fries. Both top notch. Parking can be challenging as are negotiating the accessibility issues. Bathrooms were clean, unisex, but handled discreetly. Had a good time and that's what mattered.
I will be dreaming about this Bulgogi burger for weeks. Big chunks of fish in the tacos and this tofu Banh mi was ???. Consistently impressed when I eat here.Banh mi: Roasted pork or tofu(tofu pictured), pickled carrot, onion, cucumber, cilantro, jalepeno.Bulgogi Burger: Bulgogi marinade, nappa cabbage, Kimchi mayo.Fish tacos: grilled white fish, nappa cabbage, pico and fresh lime.
Great venue for small crowds, Open Mic was entertaining..... food selection was limited but bar was on point
It's a quaint little club featuring different artists and music on different nights . It's small.. Not much room nor many tables. Food is kinda pricey though and the crowd was mostly black, in their late 20's- mid-30's. Casually dressed, very intellectual, kinda political but very artistic. I think it's a restaurant during the day a club at night

I love Hi-Tone, mane. Great late night food, great culture, and amazing people. The food? PHENOMENAL MUNCHIE FOOD. They must have a wizard in the kitchen cuz it’s amazing every time I go. If you want some late night grub..Hi Tone is where it’s at!
