On my last day in Memphis, I stopped here on my way to the airport and I was so mad that I had not heard about it before!!! I would have eaten there every day of my trip. The service was friendly, the space was clean inside, there was outdoor seating but it was feeling like 113 degrees so we are inside. I got the small white meat chicken plate with grits and greens. I got damn hot because I love spicy. The chicken was perfect. You hear me? PERFECT! Crispy, well seasoned, juicy, hot and fresh. Grits were delicious. I so wished I had a biscuit lol. I put honey on my chicken and it was heaven. The greens were not the best-too much liquid and not enough flavor but I had enough going on with the chicken and grits. I can’t wait to go back Memphis and to Hattie Bs.
Best hot chicken! Great service and great food. Been probably a 100 times and never had a bad bite of food.
Visiting from Missouri. I'd drive back down to Memphis for a weekend just to gorge myself on fried chicken. Memphis fried chicken is in their own category. Up here we've got county cookin', like KFC, but Hattie B's is just different. I wolfed down mine in record time. Snot dripping and all. I didn't care. My wife almost sent me to the car. Again, didn't care. I want that chicken in my mouth right now. Incredibly delicious and worth the wait. The bacon and cheese grits were so good as well. Can't wait to get back down there.

The chicken and the sauce made music in my mouth... The service was impeccable from the ordering to the dropping off of our meal.... I WOULD DEFINITELY SAY THIS IS A MUST HAVE IF YOU ViSIT MEMPHIS...
The manager on shift went way above and beyond for us since we placed a mobile order to be picked up in Nashville(apparently my location services got turned off) he called the manager at that location and got the order canceled and credit added back to my card and then remade the order at his location. Went way beyond what he needed to do. Thank you to the manager at the Memphis location that was working [email protected] noon. Best Chicken and service in the business. God Bless.
First time at Hattie B’s and it was delicious! I got the 3 wing combo which came with two sides, I got the fries and bacon and cheese grits. I got medium heat for my chicken and it was great, it gave it a good kick of flavor but not so much that I couldn’t taste anything else. The grits were great as well. I would highly recommend this place to anyone coming Memphis!

I ordered Nashville style hot chicken breast and wing.It was excellent and the sauce was great as well.I recommend bone in options, seems a litlle more juicy and flavorful with this option.Excellent choice for lunch.
