Went here Sunday morning, first customers and the only customers. Our waitress was terrible and ride, we were charged for food we never received and incorrectly prepared food..she refused to take the items off the ticket. Instead of causing an uproar we paid but I regret it, we won't be returning ever. She could lose her job with that type of service
I have eaten here in person several times before and have always had good service and food. In contrast, I have always had issues when ordering online with getting my food in a timely manner. This was my most recent experience trying to order from from here online. My order was never confirmed through ChowNow despite waiting nearly 20 minutes to receive a confirmation email that my order was being prepared. I tried calling the restaurant to confirm my order, but their phone lines were down (disclaimer: their phone line never works). I went in person to see about why this order had not been confirmed, thinking that maybe they were just busy; there were hardly any customers in the restaurant. The cashier, for some reason, did not see the notification on the iPad (the one that receives ChowNow orders) at the register despite it being right beside her. My order ended up taking nearly an hour total from the time I ordered online to the time I got it (my order consisted of two simple entrees and some cheese dip). I have been here several times before to eat in-person and have enjoyed their food and drink as well as the waiters/atmosphere. With all that being said, I’d definitely recommend this place if you plan on dining in. However, do not order online unless you are okay with the possibility of waiting an inordinate amount of time.
I would imagine that on a normal day it would be great, but the day I visited I was part of a 30 count graduation party; they could not handle the onslaught (were not prepared). The food and drinks had the potential to be astounding. I will visit the chain again just not that location because I rarely go downtown. Give them a chance, let me know what you think. Enjoy.
Delicious food! My wife and I shared the chicken fajita nachos, I can't wait to try something unique to this place next time we go
Honestly my hopes for this resturant where high since all I did was ordered was their fajitas for pick up. But when I went to sit down it was amazing they had QR code menus, great staff, and the food was amazing. Just in case you where wondering what I ordered it was some chicken enchaladas and a chicken fajita to go. I will go again!!!!!
This is the worst Mexican restaurant in the tri state area !They call it the Happy Mexican.Well I was not happy.I have been there quite a few times in the past and I have a bad experience every time.I will not be back.Walking in the door and all you can smell is the dirty mop that must have been used on everything !The whole place stinks !As if that isn't bad enough the waitress and the rest of the staffdon't seem to be in any hurry to serve you and can't remember that you asked for pepper and my friend requested hot sauce.Had to ask 3 times.By the way the restaurant was basically empty so no excuses for not being attentive.Moving on to the food.Most Mexican restaurants ( and I frequent them all ) give you all of the trimming s with fajitas.This place does not.Bad decision on their part.I can only hope that the owner will read this and make the necessary changes throughout the establishment if they expect to stay in business.Either way I will not be back.
I'm giving a l3 not because of thr food or service but because I received my check today and after counting out the cash for the bill...I noticed that a 15% tip added to my bill. I had originally going to leave 18%, but wasn't even told about the gratuity already being added. On the menu it says that 18% gratuity will be added for parties of 6 or more, but nothing about 15% being added. I had a party of 2. Asked the cashier and she stated it's added to all checks 2 to close. If this is a thing, please tell customers somewhere. He wouldve gotten a 15.00 tip out me for a 30.00 tab. It's very unprofessional. Good thing I took another minute to look back over my bill.
Food was so so. It was a super busy lunch period so I know it had to come out fast. Flavor and presentation is usually much better. Service was good even during busy time.
This place needs a visit by the health department because they had roaches! The other reviews are quite accurate. The menus were sticky too, I had to leave. I was disgusting! I know it's downtown and everything, but invest in some serious pest control, PLEASE!
Salsa and cheese dip were excellent. Service was excellent. The portions were huge and the price was very reasonable. My meal needed a bit more spice.
