The Beef and Lamb Gyro is the best gyro I have ever had in my life. Every bite was just so tasty--the beef and lamb was cooked to perfection, exactly how you want it in a gyro. The vegetables were super fresh and delivered that little bit of crispy crunch that complimented the rest of the gyro so perfectly. And then the pita itself was simply delicious...seemed to melt in my mouth in some bites. It is hard to articulate why it was so good, perhaps they bake the pita bread in house.... Finally, this is the spot for gyros that I have been waiting for in Memphis for so long.I also had the Chicken Shwarma, and it too was outstanding, although I think I preferred the Beef and Lamb gyro.I look forward to trying other items on the menu. I was tempted to get an order of the Hummus, but at $10 it seemed a bit pricey--looks like it was only a few years go when it was $6. I was tempted to drop my review down to 4-4.5 stars because of this, but the gyros were just so good.
I fell in love with HAPPY GREEK. I called and requested a catered order for dolmas. They gave me a reasonable price and achieved the order in a great time. Their customer service was excellent. I will continue to order from this restaurant!! Good job HAPPY Greek!!!
So today my visit to Happy Greek was not so happy! The wait I don’t ever mind for something worth the wait! It usually is which really saddens me! The beef/lamb in my gyro which is very scarce is crunchy and over cooked and I ordered three because the family also loves it! The fries were also underwhelming and overcooked too! #soverydisappointed

Terrible customer service. The employees were very nonchalant about completely neglecting to fill my order. I clearly explained to the rep I spoke to and asked about paying ahead or whatever was needed but I was told the order would be ready and waiting for me which it was not! I drove 25 mins to get there, starving, just to be told they never made it! Then they had the audacity to act as if it was nothing!! The worst experience I’ve ever had with a small business. They suck!!!! I did not get the impression that they value their customers!!!! Awful service and experience!
Awesome Greek food. Probably the best Greek food we've had so far in Memphis. Tried the Dolmades, Spanakopita, Falafel, chicken and lamb gyros. All the food was excellent, meat tender, taste was perfect. Highly recommend you try the food here, especially if you enjoy Meditteranean food.
Was really good. best tabbouleh we have had in the city. Sandwiches were on point. Not sure how anyone could find much fault.
