Quiet and they didn't bother us once we sat down other than to deliver food. Had to walk to the counter to order.

I was googling for craft beer in Memphis and glad this placed showed up in the search. I passed by the place and already felt that this would be a good place to hangout while waiting for my father. I was like a kid in a candy store. Happy to have enough options, a mix of NEIPAs, Session IPAs, a stout and even beers inspired by the geologists Hutton & Smith. The vibe was relaxed. I would definitely go back again.

Absolutely perfect place for local beer and people -watching on Cooper Avenue.

When I visit a city, I always research anything local. For beer, it's really important to me to seek out local breweries and taprooms that support and showcase them. Hammer and ale hit the mark dead on. I didn't get a count while I was there, but there were at least 20+ local/regional beers on tap. I allowed who I assume was the owner assemble a 6 beer flight for me and he provided a great selection. This a cozy nook of a space with a great spacious and casual patio right in the street of a hip neighborhood. I am certainly hoping to get back there before I leave in a few days. Thanks for having me!!

Great selection of local craft brews and a fun place to sit outside and people watch!

Great beer selection and a very friendly and knowledgeable staff. Must stop for the cooper young area

Good spot for new beers. Constantly rotating selection of beers on tap as well as a couple whiskeys. Simple and low-key. Small menu of a couple good, simple sandwiches. Friendly staff. Large outdoor seating area. Crowd can trend yuppie-ish. Occassionally closes early if there's a big rush and they run through the tapped kegs. Solid place to grab an afternoon beer or to have a drink if you're waiting on a table at a nearby restaurant.

This is a very nice place to hang out and drink some beers. The place offers a various of beers from the tab. They have tables indoors as well as outdoors. This is a great place to get your evening started, due to the fact that they are not open all night long. The beers we had were delicious and we liked them. The bartender was friendly and inviting, we had the chance to try the beers before we ordered them. During our stay in Memphis, we visited the place two times. I can recommend visiting this place and trying their beers.

Great beer on tap, super knowledgeable staff, cozy atmosphere and a great patio.

Great, stylish little bar in Cooper-Young. Good beer, friendly staff and chill environment.
