The biryani is NOT biryani. It's rice with mildly spiced (flavor, not heat) paste and food coloring. Low quality taste and extremely stingy with the protein in meat dishes for the price.I may be biased since I've recently moved to Memphis from a top 10 US city with a thriving international food scene and large Indian population; but even with the vastly higher cost of living in that city, better quality Indian food was cheaper.Sad this was my first Indian food experience in Memphis. I will never intentionally eat from here again. At least 2 stars because the paneer dishes were on point, and when you ask for maximum spice level, they give it to you!PS All the South Asians have given this place poor reviews, while everyone else calls it 'authentic' ?

Tandoori chicken: Chicken marinated in yogurt and spices, cooked over red hot charcoal in the tandoor grill.Mushroom Bahjee: Curried mushroom with sautéed onion and peas.Chicken curry and Garlic Naan bread. The best. ?????

Believe other negative reviews..Donot waste your time. We ordered samosa, pakora and two chai. Everything takes so much time... still got one chai only and pakora not heated properly as it was still frozen inside. Samosa were also not fresh and looked just microwaved. I understand time issue as it could be due to staff shortage but no excuse for quality and service. Menu is a joke as only few items are available at the opening...just wasted ⏲ and ?...

I ordered chicken biriyani through Uber eats. It came in a container, usually kept to serve a curry based dish. However, the portion size wise it was good. I ate two times. I’m an indian. I was born and raised in india, so I have a very high standard and good understanding of biriyani ( including regional variations). This dish in the name of biriyani is no way can be regarded as ‘biriyani’. Period! If you call it a chicken- curried rice, it’s okay.

I don't get the chance to eat authentic Indian/Pakistan food often, so when I see a restaurant suggested by friends I jump at the opportunity to try it out. And I was not disappointed. This is the best Indian food in Memphis and it wasn't even close.I left here feeling content and full! The food was flavorful, the atmosphere was intimate and quiet and the location is great. I'll be coming here often!

Went were for lunch with friends. The have a lunch specials menu which was perfect. I got the lamb curry and the meat was fall apart tender and perfectly spiced. Rice and naan were good sides. Average prices for average portions. No complaints. Friendly service. Small seating areas but kids would be okay.

I ordered food from here recently and one of my items had a long blue fabric piece in it.I'm not sure if it was hair or just a piece from a cloth but needless to say it was not good. HOWEVER, this is the only incident that has disturbed me from this place as the food and service was great, as per usual.

The worst Indian food I've ever had. Tasteless and Overpriced

The restaurant is now outrageously overpriced given the quantity and quality of food provided; and the food itself is repugnant at best. We ordered take away a couple of weeks ago and it was absolutely disgusting. I have been eating here off and on for 15 years and am sad to see what it has turned into, I was shocked at how low quality our order was. The channa I ordered look as though raw chili flakes had been dumped into it. The tiny 8 oz container it came packed in was at least 1/3 filled with chili flakes... Disgusting. If their quality of food and now exorbitantly priced items are related to the covid era, they should do the city a favor and shut down. At least that way Memphis can remember how nice of a place it used to be.

It's a shame I have to write this review because I really like the food but I had an issue when I ordered a Pick up last week. When I ordered online, it requested that I pay in person. All I ordered was the Mutter Paneer (No Naan Bread or Drink) and it was $16.41. When I went to pay, the guy at the counter said I owe $16.41 and he ran my debit card through. Once it was approved, he gave me the receipt to sign and I saw where $62.00 had been charged on my debit card. I immediately alerted the guy this and all he said was "I void this now." He did void this but this was very suspicious to me in how he got $16.41 confused with $62.00 especially when he had told me I owed $16.41. He looked at me like I caused an inconvenience to him when he was being a thief trying to steal money from me. Thankfully the almost $50.00 was immediately returned to my account but this really hacked me off. Please be careful people when you order from here and always make sure you double check your check and the prices on the menu. They will really try to rip you off or steal from you. I can't believe this guy thought I would be so stupid where I wouldn't even notice $62.00 to a $16.41 meal.
