Very affordable donuts; like $1 for most of the basic donuts, I think $2 for jelly filled, fritters, and a few others. Donuts were pretty good; they definitely keep them coming out fresh all morning, which was good, because there was a never-ending line to get them. Not necessarily the best donuts I've ever had, but for the price, you can't go wrong.

The red velvet donut was excellent. Moist and plenty of cream cheese frosting. The caramel donut also was good. Solid base donut that was airy. Definitely a busy place but line moved fast. Great prices.

My former student took my friend and I to Gibson's Donuts and I was so impressed. I'm not a pastry eater but I was blown away when I tasted the glaze donut, the blueberry cake donut and the cinnamon roll. They melted in my mouth and they were so fresh even the next day. The staff was so friendly and even gave us a rundown of all their specials. I will certainly be going back. And if you are in town make sure stop by and enjoy a fresh donut.

Very tasty & excellent value. Great selection of freshly made donuts available. Well worth a visit if you are in the area!

Gibson's Donuts features very good quality doughnuts at a good price. The service gets an additional callout as the employee's are very welcoming and helpful. 5.0

This has been on my list of "nation's most highly rated donut shops" for a long time. We finally got the chance to stop by, and all the more determined to do so after at least 4 locals said, "You've GOT to go to Gibson's! It's a local tradition!". Well, folks, maybe in Memphis. However, in Jacksonville, FL., we have The Donut Shoppe, around for 60 years, and they are NEVER on any national list - shockingly - but they are every bit as good, and better. I guess it's all about what is best in any given area. However, to their credit, the donuts were very good, and the service was typically southern. If I lived here, I'd recommend it, too...after I tried the others in the area.

This is worth going out of your way for.The good: Open 24/7. They make regular donuts really really well. They're in the "style" of Krispy Kreme just made better and tastier. Not like the cakey kind of donuts like Dunkin. The meh: this place is not a secret. Very busy and crowded. I never looked at calories of the donuts because I was too scared to.The bad: none!

Perfect donuts. The guy behind the counter was friendly and helpful. I had the old fashioned cake donut, which was perfectly done. We also had the chocolate eclair style, also perfectly done.

first time there and they toss me a free doughnut. they were patient with me and help me pick out some doughnuts and answer any questions I had.

My wife and I were in town for a couple of days and we stopped by and grabbed some donuts and they were so good that we stopped by agin right before we hit the road to go home!
