First time going. I was very impressed with the food selection and the services. Both were great. I would highly recommend!
Obviously neither the hostess nor the bartender wanted to be here today but thankfully the waitress Amari saved the day with an outstanding personality! The food was decent, as always!
I just left this place after sitting for 15 minutes, at my still dirty table where they sat us, without being served. I watched as 3 parties that were sat after me were helped. They were not busy at all and there was no good excuse for the terrible service. After complaining about the lack of service, nothing was done by the manager to rectify the situation, so I went to Shogun next door. They were quick and attentive at Shogun. I will not be going back to Genghis Grill again. It's a shame that this establishment has gone so far downhill.
Rude and snooty staff for lunch. Food was decent when I could follow the recipe. Then cook got upset that I wasn’t doing it “the way it’s supposed to go.” If you want return business, maybe clarify what you want customers to do at the food stations.
This was our second time eating at a Genghis Grill restaurant and we really liked it. It's kind of like an oriental type restaurant. They give you a bowl, can be small, medium, or large, and you take and fill it as full as you can with different means, veggies and other items. There are also several flavored sauces, such as teriyaki, sweet and sour, etc.... You leave your tray and let the cooks do their job. And they do it very well. Your food is cooked on a round stone looking grill. Then go back to your table and wait for your food. And it isn't a long wait either. You can also choose a base of fried rice, noodles and a few other things. My husband and I got the medium and could not eat it all. The price is not bad either. The servers at both places were really nice and friendly. We would recommend trying Genghis Grill. It's now one of our favorites.
Our waitress was kind, I wish I had gotten her name. My friend and I went on our lunch break so we didn't have a lot of time. Our waitress was able to suggest the best food and it was made fast and tasted great!
I visited Genghis Grill for lunch and it was a very good decision. The food was fresh as always and the staff was very very friendly and accommodating. The restaurant and restaurants as a whole was clean. I thoroughly enjoyed my lunch even though it was a to go order. I highly recommend this site with five stars.
Okay. So this was my husband's first time ever visiting this place and I hadn't been here for quite some time. Just like most other things, the prices had increased significantly since I was there last. No problem. We were initially going to get our bowls to go then my husband wanted the full experience so we opted to stay. Nope! This was the beginning of a slippery slope to mediocre service and a burnt tasting meal. Now, my protein (chicken breasts) were fine; cooked perfectly. It was my vegetables that had the burnt taste. Some were over cooked while were not undercooked. Then my Udon noodles were really al dente. Hmm. I didn't even know Udon noodles could be al dente. But, okay. Other than the interesting burnt taste, my bowl was great. Our server? She, along with the only other server, was overwhelmed and lacked friendliness. She tried but even with the restaurant only 1/3 filled, no bartender and a hostess who only wanted to seat, it was than she could handle. The waitstaff get the four stars!
I hadn't been to Gg since before the pandemic. So I was very excited about it. My meal got mixed up with another customer , they straightened it out. I was not disappointed. The meal was fantastic!!
Fresh ingredients and nice service. Love this location!
