Three visits, two good. Last one took me over the edge and done.Have to say that the employees are hit and miss - gonna depend on what day and time you visit.Meat, bread, mayo - simple sandwich.Really enjoyed the first two visits and meals.Third time - BOOM - food poisoning. Only thing I had eaten that day and happened within an hour. Not pleasant at all. Just thinking about Firehouse makes me queasy.Ill almost guarantee that they let the mayo go above temp.Never Again Firehouse...
The service at this location is no where near as friendly as they use to be! I remember a time when ever person who walked into the restaurant was greeted by all the employee's who'd shout out "Welcome to Firehouse!" When I walked in, no one greeted me nor looked up! I placed an online order and walked up to the "to go register." I was over looked and the lady who walked in several minutes after me was acknowledged first and before I was. The good news was my food was ready almost immediately and, the meal was accurate and warm! There was no adult present which I believe made the difference!
We stopped by to pick up dinner cause we just got back from a trip. We go to this location all the time. Two of my pet peeps were realized tonight and I am so disappointed. The pickle was so thin you should just stop buying them … they are so aweful and my Hook and Ladder is ALways warm but tonight it was cold and just thrown together. I always get the chicken dumpling soup … it was all liquid and tasted nasty … could not eat it.There was something differently wrong. There were 6 guys working and still the meal was NOT good! Sooooo disappointed!
We ordered aTuna salad on plain bun with lettuce and tomato, provolone cheese, salt and pepper and oil and vinegar. One oatmeal cookie. We got a tuna salad sandwich, toasted bun no salt and pepper, oil no vinegar. No cookie. No pickle. We also ordered a Turkey, bacon on toasted white bun, with tomato and lettuce with light mayonnaise with provolone, no onions, an oatmeal cookie and a Diet Coke. We got a Turkey bacon with provolone sandwich not toasted with onions. And no pickle. I was visiting Bartlett, TN, from Pensacola, FL where our Belvadere Plaza Firehouse Subs has absolutely delicious perfect subs and excellently trained sub makers who pay attention, and are very friendly on the phone and in person. I’m very glad I was just visiting, I was surprised and disappointed to have compare.
Wanted a good toasted sub...the kind where the bun crunches when you bite it. Firehouse subs are heated but not toasted as stated on their web site. I specifically asked for buns to be toasted when I ordered.I ordered the Italian and the Hero. Both were warm but not toasted. They also did not include the pickle as stated on the menu. Won't be going back.
They were absolutely swamped with orders while we were there, but they did a great job and got the food out in record time! ? I'll be glad to go back anytime!
Service was excellent with a smile they let me use my points discount from my phone, and the food was ready within minutes, and delicious!
Great food! Had a sub with chili, delicious.
Terrible, my whole family got so sick here! Also paid to add bacon to my sibling 3 times never received it. I don't recommend at all.
why is there no hand sanitizer to be found in this restaurant? The last time we ate at Firehouse on Union, there were several places to use sanitizer. Zero at the Appling location. One employee coughed. He did cough into his sleeve, but it made me quite nervous.
