Now this don’t make any sense! I was willing to bring the food back so they can Remake it because someone ate out of my plates. I called the Disrespectful restaurant and she Hung up in my face. This Location needs to be checked. High food with no respect! I hope you guys lose all business.
They weren't able to serve alcohol until sometime in April... So no margaritas.Our waitress was super friendly and helpful.The chips, salsa and queso weren't too bad.I enjoyed the cheese steak tacos.
I've been here so many times over the years, and I had lunch here again today. One thing that has been consistent for nearly two decades, is the food is delicious, we were served quickly, they are always busy, and the servers are so friendly and pleasant--ok so that is like 3 or 4 things that have been consistent for nearly two decades. This place really is one of the best in Memphis.
My server Rossy was great. I was surprised ...no liquor...so no tequila margaritas. Food was hot tasty fresh. I ordered shrimp grilled with hot peppers cheese on a bed of rice lettuce Tomatoes. The avg meal was 10.00 to 15.00. Good selection of beer and a beer margarita. Clean area fast service
So today at El Toro Loco... No alcohol being served except for Margaritas... Weird but ok... Seems strangely weak.... Ask for a shot of tequila to add to it..... Not available..... Really... So how the FU$K did you make the Rita? 10.99 for flavored water.... Feel more than a little Loco.... Please share and shut this place down....
The food was good but the service was sad. I asked for a Margarita they told my friend and I they were not serving drinks. A hour later has we were finishing dining two white woman were seated across from us and served margaritas. On top of that. We had to flag people down for service. They paid more attention to the white customers then the blacks.
I've eaten, mostly, carryout from El Toro Loco over the years. This was not a new experience for me. I was a little disappointed with my sandwich. I always order a steak Mexican Torta. The bread the Torta comes on is delicious. They served my sandwich on 4 hamburger buns, instead of the torta bread. They also didn't inform me ahead of time, probably assuming I didn't know the difference. They were also a little stingy with the steak considering all that bread. Good, but could've been better.
The poor server didn't want to wait on me, she send a black server to take over. I had never experienced anything like this before at this restaurant. I told the manager he mentioned that his people does not discriminate, but bad customers do come in... I said huh you're not making any sense to me... I couldn't understand his chopped up accent... I left
We ordered online and picked up in drive thru. Originally we placed an order online for a party of 5. When we arrived to drive-thru they said the online ordering had been down for months but, no worries he would take my order. Very kind .I thought this is going to take forever, lol but it was actually less than 10 minutes! The food was fresh and authentic! They give fresh chips and salsa with your order, always a plus! Average pricing. I ordered something I never seen before on a menu! The toro loco fajitas ! And they did not disappoint!! It has bacon, shrimp, chicken, chorizo , steak and shrimp! It was actually really good. First time here. Curious to see how the inside looks. Will be returning.
I have a very nice time the waitress had to get with the program but after that it was all good
