Don't let them put you on the third floor. Same floor as the workout room. Corridors and room smelled like strong body odor! Air freshener wouldn't improve the smell. Will never stay here again. Definitely not worth the money!

Horrible experience here. Valet, Bell hops, Cleaning and maintenance were great. Front desk was pleasant but wasn't able to help with me being overcharged. We went with a wedding party and had a fixed base rate of $205. I was charged the base rate of $205 for my first night and $3901 for my second night. I called the hotel 2x prior to arrival to try to get this straight. I was told the "system hasn't updated". Upon arrival I went to the front desk and my rate was still the exorbitant rate of $390. Which by the way is $100 more than their advertised rate. Was told again "the system hasn't updated". My check in was 5 days after my first call. The morning of my check out I received my ebill and my chard was charged $390 for the second night. I made another trip to the front desk and was told they couldn't do anything with out the manager-who wasn't there that weekend. We checked out on the 13th and went home. THEN on Sunday morning the 14th I received another charge of $272 at 6:00 am. We weren't even there! Again, I called the front desk and they claim I wan't charged, yet the charge shows up on my credit card. Again, they said they weren't able to do anything until the manager was there but nothing was needed because my credit card hadn't been charge. If that's the case, the charge is fraudulent because my credit has a second charge for Saturday night and we weren't there

Overall, the Memphis Central Station was a nice hotel. Food was good and drinks were reasonably priced. Big negative was the lack of lighting in the rooms. Dungeness in feeling. After the sun went down it wasn't possible to read except in the bathroom where there was adequate lighting. Had to use camera light to find things on the dresser. Need lights!

Very interesting history in this 100+ year old hotel. It had self-parking lot for $25 daily. Trolly right in front of hotel can take you anywhere downtown for only $1 a trip. I loved the hotel, the people were great, the bed was comfy, the ac worked great. Ice only available on 3rd floor so getting from 6th to 3rd was inconvenient. Our room was a king and husband & I had to take turns walking around the bed- very small room! The bathroom was nice, clean and roomy though. Our door lock was broken and it looked like someone had tried to break in- was in need of repair. Land line phone was dead- no way to call front desk easily.

Must stay! Not just any ole hotel room, it was a whole vibe! So relaxing and entertaining at the same time. I had amazing views. I felt like I was not in my own city. I can’t wait to book again!! Absolutely amazing time!

Last minute added stop on a road trip. The central Station was an excellent value. The room was clean, service excellent. Jenifer at the front desk was very accommodating and always had a great smile to greet us.

Fantastic hotel!! This hotel is perfect for music lovers and anyone who feels at home in mid century modern environments. I absolutely loved my stay. The room was nice and the beds were comfy. The staff was incredibly friendly. My favorite part was that they have music playing in each room with a super cool knob to control the volume.

Nothing but cool vibes here. The setting ...a restored railway station. Great soulful music by the house DJ. Very relaxing and enjoyable time. Great service.

We stopped here on a trip cross country. Nice, clean, friendly. Yet. The shower teeny tiny and the water flows toward the door and water goes all over the floor. Comfy bed. Trolley right outside for trip to Beale street a great plus

Loved this hotel. The DJ in the Lobby spinging classic Memphis blues that was also in our room that's in this old train station with killer views of the town to the yummy restaurant Bishops that is a French /Southern style bistro. Love this hotel!
