This place is sure worth the 25min drive from Beale Street!!! Im so not a thigh person however I was told to give the chicken and waffle a try. Im glad I obeyed!! Everything was simply great.. Great! GREAT! AND ONE MORE GREAT.... Thank me later.Make sure to call and check on wait at venue is small however very welcoming...
A humble breakfast place at a very unassuming site. This was clearly a residence before which was turned into a restaurant. We visited at Sunday, for brunch. It was super busy and crowded. We didn’t have to wait, got the table. It’s a deli style place. We had to wait in a line and place our order at the counter. After a while the food was served. It was hot and fresh, and was served in a disposable plate. I had a regular coffee with it. The coffee was basic. My platter was with French toast and sausage Patties with two eggs. I wanted my eggs as sunny side up. It didn’t look perfect - one yolk was already broken and spilled over. However, the eggs were delicious, because it was perfectly seasoned. The French toasts were ok, they were little burnt. The house made sausage patty was good, it was nicely spiced. The other plate on the table was with pancakes. I loved the pancakes. The stack was huge. The pan cake was perfectly fluffy and the surface was a bit crunchy. It was perfect. Overall, the food was pretty decent.
The smell of got grease permeates the air as you pull into the lot. When you walk inside you are engulfed inside a hurricane of delicious smells, spices, and super friendly service. It's delicious experience in every sense of the word!! (The hot thigh sauce is especially tasty & the catfish is beyond amazing❣️)
The food and service were good, even on a busy day. My family and I decided to try Eggxactly during Black Restaurant Week. I had the chicken and waffles. The thigh sauce for the chicken was the perfect addition to the meal. We’re already planning our next trip back!

Talk about a class act delicious soulful breakfast experience.Dining at this neighborhood eatery was a delightful vibe. The urban but southern porch-front home environment is pleasant, cheerful with just the right amount of sunshine to a fantastic get-up n dine in breakfast surprise. The entire staff provided excellent customer service with a friendly and authentic smile. The freshly prepared food is topnotch the best I've had in the past several years. Just to add a little flare, the cocktail menu is a mouth watering refresher. Oh, let me not forget to mention the mimosa collection for Saturday or Sunday brunch.So why did I give it 4 stars? Real utensils would have been a better match for the quality of food served. I highly recommend this beautiful entry for breakfast and lunch only

Words cannot explain how amazing my experience was. The wait wasn’t look at all and the workers came around and checked on us consistently. Words cannot describe how great the food was.I had the Bourbon French Toast and it did NOT disappoint!
For anyone staying near Graceland this is a great place to go for breakfast. The food is tasty and reasonably priced. The staff were so welcoming, we loved it.
