the best burger of all time. simple and delicious. will dream about it until I get the chance to go back to Memphis ❤️ we'll meet again
Went in, they didn't have many people working. But these guys were on point, got our order taken quickly, had the food out quick. The burger and fries were amazing! I definitely recommend trying the fried PB&J it was out of this world!!
Wouldn’t recommend. Went in wasn’t super busy got a table and nobody ever waited on us. Sat there for probably 15-20 min and decided to leave.
This is regular stop for us every time we’re in Memphis. It never disappoints. That 100 year old grease still amazing.
While on beale street we wanted to get a burger at this joint. It was around 4pm-5pm on Sunday. We went to open the door but it was locked. There were people in there eating. So we were a little confused. I called the place to see if they were open. There was no answer. But there were multiple people behind the counter. So we thought maybe there is a side door. We walked along the building to no side door. But a employee was walking out the employee door. I asked if they were open. He reply’s with yes we are but we’re are not letting anyone in. He never made eye contact with us. He just said that and kept walking. Who does that? I guess dyers doesn’t like to make money. Y’all have a bunch of idiots working there and good luck to the owner for having employees like that
I was in town for one night and felt like a burger so I looked up some places and read about Dyer's. It was about 25 minutes away from my hotel but sounded good and was affordable. I saw that they were open until 12am and being that it was 8:30 pm I didn't think twice and hopped in the car. I found parking a couple blocks away and got through the crowd on Beale St only to find that their doors were locked. An employee was sitting in a booth with her back turned to the door and didn't look back when I pulled on the door and it banged into the lock. Not sure what happened but I wasted an hour if my time and gas going to a place that doesn't keep the hours it posts.
We visited on a Saturday night around 5PM and the wait wasn't too bad, took us about 20 minutes in line until we got seated. We ordered burgers and fries (my husband has been dying to try this 100yr old grease ?). The food came out pretty quick and was a good, greasy burger lol. I think the grease is really the attraction, otherwise it's just a good burger ?
No pictures of the double double because it was soooo damn good! The workers here bust their butts every day. The food is awesome. Definitely a must go when you're down on Beale.
A friend recommended that we stop here while in town so we did. They fry their burgers in 100 year old oil. They taste absolutely amazing. It's not a fancy place but a great place to get a quick tasty lunch.
Awesome burger and awesome service
