I went yesterday for Korean barbecue which was my first time. Standard over 15 minutes when the lady finally came to greet us she asks us do we have a mask because we needed to be seated with a mask. So I went to my car and got a mess and came back and she looks like she didn't even want to service us. We order our Korean BBQ which was over $100 definitely even the problem we looked at other tables they have lettuce stuff to wrap your Korean barbecue with and the only thing we had was kimchi and the meat. It was the worst experience ever I know they're low and staff but how do you miss certain things that come with a meal I would never eat Korean BBQ again maybe I need to try another location is not in Memphis. $16 tip plus $10 more with gratuity for horrible service and just a good person in general
Pretty good food. Called in to make reservation and came on on time but didn't get menus till like 30 minutes after. Alright short staffed I guess. Then we were rushed to leave like 1 hr later cus it was 30 minutes past closing. We barely finished up eating and the food took a while. As someone who also worked in the food industry it would be understandable if we came in close to before closing. But being rushed to leave a few minutes after was a joke. Food and experience is pretty alright tho.
Server was very nice.Place looks nice.Tables sticky.Octopus dish very tasty - great taste. Octopus was more tough than tender.Bibimbap beef was ground beef? What’s up with that???Spicy ramen was not too bad but not worth $9 and for any protein you have to pay more?Kim chee was very good.Chicken bulgogi was very good and tender.Hope DWJ reads these comments and improve on them so we can consider trying it again after improvements
The food is amazing, but is very pricey especially for the dinner portions. Be aware that they automatically include an 18% gratuity with good or bad service. Service was initially slow, but good overall
I could never support this location again.First incident, came in at 6:40 on sunday. Server said to wait 10-15 mins for a table & we agreed that was fine. 10 mins later she comes & says the kitchen is out of rice and they’re not making anymore because they close at “7:30” (even though the door says 8). Mind you the door also says the kitchen closes 30 mins prior to closing, there was still 10 mins until 7:30 when she approached us back and said they were out of rice.Second straw, I just got turned away again at 6:32 on sunday. I walk in, it’s dark. Workers are in the kitchen and see me and the cook goes “ aw, naw, it’s up to you though” and she comes up to me and turns me away.Sad they have good reviews but horrible horrible service.
Very good food. Was very unique experience but the atmosphere was lacking. Not sure if it was the time of day but the place looked almost abandoned
Quick and perfectly-packed to-go orders. I personally love their sides, especially the potato salad which is somewhat unique. Easy to get in and out of during lunch, parking is adequate. I did notice they added 18% gratuity to my order. I didn't mind, but heads up.
Way too expensive. $17 for a bottle of Soju, and an automatic 18% gratuity is insane. We had a bottle of Soju and two Bulgogi entrees and it was $79. Absolutely insane. Food was fine though.
Waited for 10 minutes after the restaurant was supposed to open on a Saturday. Kind of disappointed because I was really craving some Korean BBQ only to realize the place was never going to open. Not a single person in the building or a sign to let guests know they weren’t going to be opened.
I tried this place for the first time today. I've never had this type of food before. It was definitely different, but not too bad. The dumplings were good. I liked the beef and chicken and corn. It was Interesting but ok. There was only 1 server. There wasnt a lot of people there, but the start up time was slow. It took a while to get the setup to start cooking our food and the waitress forgot about bringing me and my son's drink. She was nice though. Laid back atmosphere.
