I finally caught this place open! Got there at 5pm and barely beat the rush. Got seated right away and Teresa was the best server. I ordered the curry shrimp and grits. I love shrimp and grits and curried was just awesome. Love! The shrimp were huge. Great taste. Good portion size. I wanted desert but didn't want to chance leaving uncomfortable. Lol. Maybe next time. I'll be back for more!

We are vacationing in Memphis and my adult daughter suggested that we try Curry N Jerk. I had the Panamanian Chicken Pasta and it was unlike anything that I had ever had before. It was flavorful and filled with chicken and vegetables in a delicious, spicy broth. My daughter and husband enjoyed their meals as well. I would highly recommend this restaurant to locals and travelers alike!

I can’t wait to come back here!!!The atmosphere, service and the food was on point!!! I had the salmon and grits oh my goodness so phenomenon. Great portions for the price. Definitely will be coming back here when I’m in town.

I can't remember the name the lady that took my order but she was really cool. the curry shrimp & grits were phenomenal. the oxtails were good. but to have a name Iike Curry & Jerk, I would expect your jerk to be on point. it was merely smoked chicken with a side of jerk sauce. not great at all. But best believe I'll be back for that curry shrimp & grits tho

great food and would recommend then if you are downtown Memphis

Curry shrimp & grits were amazing. Oxtails were good. Jerk chicken was trash. It was smoked chicken with a side of jerk sauce which was ok but sweet

Our waiter Landon was excellent. Very attentive to all of our needs. The drinks were ice cold and the food was piping hot. Absolutely loved the salmon & cheese grits. The portions are huge! So we definitely got our money’s worth. It was literally two meals in one. The ambiance is warm and inviting. We will return!

Genuinely the best food I’ve had in a long time. Memphis is know for their BBQ but it should be known for its jerk and curry chicken. So good, so unique, rare food and taste done so well. If you’re visiting, you must must come here.

This was my husband and I first time visiting Memphis and a local recommended this place. We walked in and immediately I loved the atmosphere. I am vegan so we looked at the menu first to see what the options were and they had quite a few options for me to choose from. So we tried it and let me tell you…my husband personally asked the chef to come out to thank him and compliment him on how great everything tasted! Seriously, their food is so good! My husband said that they have the best shrimp and grits thats he’s EVER tasted and my husband orders that often at restaurants. I had the vegan jerk burger. I would never think about putting jerk sauce on a burger, but it was perfect! They put vegan cheese on it which I also didn’t think cheese would go well with jerk sauce, but it was amazing! Our waiter said that the chef is very passionate and it showed!! Curry and Jerk is seriously a must visit when you visit Memphis!

I heard that this was a Black Owned Business and I wanted to try them out.I hate going downtown to eat but this place made it worth it. Be on the lookout for meter parking, valet parking, and parking garages. We arrived at 6pm on a weekday. The only Happy Hour they had was the Rum Punch. It was pretty good.We ordered Beef Patties and Chicken Patties as appetizers, I got the oxtails with rice and beans and side of fried plantains. The Patties are great. Be sure to ask for Mango sauce and Jerk sauce. The oxtails were amazing and I want to come back just for the oxtails. The fried plantains were good as well.
