I decided to try them again since I haven't been in years. The last time I visited my food was nothing like I once loved from here. This time I only wanted the delicious banana pudding and sadly it was a huge disappointment. I understand the bananas are going to change in color but to look rotten is absolutely disgusting. The entire texture of the pudding was not right. I simply give up on them.
The service at this location was good, really good. The servers were very pleasant, very fluid and efficient. The food came out really good, everything was cooked right and ssrved hot.The BBQ spaghetti was far better than expected and their bread rolls are definitely better than the average.
Hard to find one with dining room service. Half rack with baked beans and twice baked potato salad. Salad was rich with a tart twang to it. Very smooth and the potatoes were sliced into coins. Baked beans were good. Nice flavor, but the same could be found in a can. The ribs were not huge, but very tender. I got them half wet and half dry. The sauce is good but the rub is really tasty. Very meaty
Wonderful food and even better service! We stopped in for a dinner break after a long 9-hour drive, and our bartender made sure we had the most relaxing experience. He kept our drinks full and we had lovely conversation! The spaghetti is DELCIOUS, and the cole slaw is top notch. Corky’s meat selections are high quality and so yummy. Can’t wait to go back!
Service was great! My family came in for a late dinner after a long day on the road, we were seated right away and got all our food quickly. Would add one more star if the food came out on smaller plates. Our table became very crowded and it was difficult to arrange the food for my kids without making a mess. Food was good ??
Really delicious dinner with large family group, mostly from out of town. Very courteous staff. The appetizer was great and our food came out at exactly the right time. Pretty diverse menu to satisfy everyone.
I had a pretty good experience with great customer service. Wasn't too crazy about the beans, but the pulled pork, fried pickles, Mac and cheese and BBQ sauce was pretty good. I feel like the place is a bit overrated though in my opinion, but a friend in the area did tell me the other locations are better, so idk, I still recommend it though.
We had not been here since the pandemic. We took family here recently and the food was very good. However the service was not good. We were seated by one person, then waited a long time for our waitress appear. We received our food before our drink order. After we had finished our entrees, I had to physically go find the waitress to give her our dessert order. Then I had to call her over from across the room to ask for our bill. And the restaurant was half empty since it was early in the evening on a Thursday.
I have previously enjoyed dining at this location, however I have experienced potentially the worst service to date. As someone with a nut and tree nut allergy I had asked the waiter to ensure that if anyone would come into contact with the deserts on their menu they would wash their hands or change their gloves. The waiter ended up bringing a Pecan Pie out to our table as if we ordered one which could have caused a life threatening allergic reaction. Additionally every aspect of our order was wrong. I ordered a Jumbo BBQ with no Slaw and double fries, however what we ended up getting was not a Jumbo with slaw on top and we did not get our fries. Perhaps if the waiter wrote down everything, they would have gotten the order correct to some degree.
It's always hot and really great. I love the catfish. This time however, I really paid for it. I paid $30.00 for 3 piece catfish dinner. I was either over charged or they have really increased their prices. I probably won't enjoy it was often at that price. But It was hot and delicious as always.
