The name of my server was Yovany. The atmosphere was lovely. It gave me a vibe that closely resembled the 90's. It took over 20 minutes to be acknowledged and then additional 25 minutes to be served my food. Mind you, the restaurant was about to close. It was not packed at all. I witnessed more empty tables than filled tables. I would say it was 25% full. The food that I ordered was a Super Fajita Quesadilla (Steak) and a sweet tea. The tea was delicious and the quesadilla was cooked well and the individual components were cooked well and scrumptious. However, as a whole the dish was lacking in execution. Quesadillas are normally sealed and not open faced (it looked more like a taco). Also, the cheese was not even spread and it was too rich & creamy. It paired well with the complimentary chips (as a topping), but it wasn't an authentic quesadilla. The server didn't smile, but he was respectful. He didn't check on me anymore after I received my food. There was gratuity automatically added, even though I was the only one in my party. The signage clearly stated that parties 5+ will have an 18% gratuity charge added. I only tip for exceptional customer service and this experience completely missed the mark. I was being rushed to eat my food even though I would gladly taken it in a take out container. I will not return to this establishment because I did not like how I was treated and the behavior of those I interacted with except for the front of the house lady. It was my first time patronizing this location and I was really looking forward to an amazing experience and meal. Have a wonderful evening and thanks for the memories!
This was located right next to the LaQuinta we were staying at. It must be in a high crime area of town because we were screened at the front door by a security guard with a metal detector. The food, however was excellent.
First off, Sign outside says please leave guns in the car. Scary! Then you walk in and there is a police officer at the door to check your purse and wand the males for weapons. WOW! This was a scary experience for me. I couldn't wait to get our food and get out of there. Food was delicious and service was good but I would think twice about going there again.
All the standards you expect, generous portions, excellent seasoning and friendly staff. A good experience all around. The salsa was flavorful and mild, the fajita seasoning was great.
Excellent food and service we ate outside and had the chicken nachos and carnitas both were excellent and more than one could eat.
The food was vey good here. Prepared and presented well. Just the right amount of spice and reasonably priced. Service lacks a bit and the place is very, very loud. The scary part was we(and everyone else) was patted down and had metal detectors used on us on the way in by armed and bullet proof vested security guards. Not sure why this occurred but one of the security guards was always walking around. Not sure if they’ve had trouble in the past or were/are expecting it but it left us uneasy. Finished our meal(food was great) but left right after we got the check. Too bad. I’d order take out but not dine in.
So it was all ok, salsa to much tomato taste. Tacos are like all other tacos. Enchilada was ok so was the quesadilla. Sweet tea was good. Our server Alejanda was friendly. 3 stars cause the salsa really speaks on authentic Mexican food.
The atmosphere was nice and kosher atmosphere! We came here to celebrate ? my Dad's Birthday. We were able to control the music in the room we were in so we had some good jams rolling thru along with the good times to match! I recommend stopping by to enjoy this spot for lunch or dinner!!!
The service was great! The lady ripped her shoes while serving us however she made enough tips to buy her another pair! Overall a good chill place to go for food.
I was there on a Sunday night for dinner. Shares the parking lot with the La Quinta so it's convenient. However when you step in there is two off-duty police with guns there to act as security. I had to be wanded for possible weapons. If they feel they need them, I'm glad they are there. Ordered a burrito and when it arrived I was wondering where the burrito was so the waiter informed me it was under the lettuce. Came with rice and refried beans. Food was okay, and the price good. I wouldn't go out of my way to eat here.
