Friends where in town, and I wanted to share a good experience of the view and space of downtown. Unfortunately, CIMAS didn’t make me look good. On a Sunday, @ 11am, there was no Champagne available for mimosas, menu was limited, there was water dripping on the outside where algae had formed on the floors..potentially for a slip and fall. We left and had to go somewhere else.

Spent two hours trying to get dinner. Only 3 tables occupied. 1 server who was hostess, server and cashier. The food was cold, and steaks were over cooked. French fries cold also. The Caesar salad was like none I’ve ever experienced anywhere. All in all it was a terrible experience. I would never go back there. This is your warning.

We had a great meal before going to My Fair Lady. Food and service were excellent.

Our experience was wonderful. Even being short staffed, the service was quick and friendly. The atmosphere was calm and inviting and the food was fresh and delicious! Value for what we received was great - will absolutely be back!

I love Cimas but they only had 1 server and apparently it has been that way for a while. Service is slow when you only have 1 server working.

I walked in to find out the kitchen was closing prior to my reservation time. No one called me or notified me. There was only one table left being served. The vibes were so strange, and they insisted I stay and they keep the kitchen open for me. I left, knowing it would be an awkward meal with them waiting on me to do anything, order, eat, etc. I don’t see this establishment lasting very long. This hotel is far too nice for service like this.

Had the intention of getting drinks before a show at the Orpheum. Made reservations. Ordered two drinks. Thirty minutes later, left empty handed. Nice view.

sadly, we did not get a chance to eat. Like many businesses, they were too short staffed to seat us in a timely manner for us to meet our curtain time. They recommended a sister restaurant, Talk Shop, which was able to serve us and which was absolutely terrific.

We were excited to check out a relatively new restaurant in the Downtown area. Unfortunately our excitement dwindled as the experience went on. Sara was very pleasant and attentive. The open view to the Mississippi river and bridge were the highlights of the visit. The food was a let down that diminished the experience. The breakfast tacos were bland with taste and not hot or warm when they arrived to the table. The Cornflake French toast was typical. On top of that, an additional TDZ (tourist department zone) fee is added to the check because the hotel is located on Beale Street.

I had my birthday brunch here and it was wonderful. We had a beautiful view of the river and the food was great too. Our waiter Barry was very helpful. I will be back!
