Delicious Cheesecake-Strawberry Piundcake Cheesecake was AMAZING! Make sure you count your slices before you leave the location if you have mulipleyslices. I was shorted a slice?
I’m done with this POORLY RAN business. From the very first time I went to this place years ago I’ve always thought that the owner was horrible at customer service. I let the fact that the cheesecake was good outweigh the horrible customer service from his staff and himself. Tonight was the very last time I ever attempt to go to this place. A friend of mine had friends in from out of town and they came by for a visit. Towards the end of their visit I said oh do you guys like cheesecake there is an great place down the street that sells cheesecake. They said oh hell yeah let’s go. I attempt to call the place with no answer but Google says that they’re open. So we all get in the car and take a drive down to the cheesecake corner. On the way I actually thought about saying now if you get poor customer service I’m sorry but that’s just the way it always is but I held back. It was 830 we all walk up to the door the open sign is on a friend of mine attempts to open the door and it’s locked. The owner is standing in the middle of the restaurant he gives the sign of slicing your neck. I say kind of loudly I said are you all closed. He walks up to the door and instead of opening the door saying hey I’m sorry but we don’t have any more cheesecake I appreciate you all coming by and I hope to see you again, he gets a little piece of paper with tape on it and sticks it to the front door that says sold out right in front of our faces. I can’t even tell you how angry I was at the lack of decent customer service. There is no gratitude from this owner to the community that provides him a living doing what he does. I have to say I do not know this man personally so I can’t speak to what type of person he is on a personal level. I do know this guy on the business level and he sucks. The young men that he has hired have been so lazy. ??. I will no longer say to visitors oh you gotta try this place it’s awesome. I will no longer take my friends and family from out of town to this business. There comes a time when a businessman needs to be held accountable for his horrible customer service. That time is now. Please do not give this business your money.
Not a fan of 5 stars. However the cheesecake is out of this world. Not what I expected. One slice is about $10.00. Expect to spend $45-50/couple. Including a couple glasses of wine.I got the peach and the wife got the chocolate blueberry.Love it!
Excellent cheesecakes! I had a vanilla pound cake with chocolate.
OMG! Our total experience was exceptional. We were given a hearty welcome upon entry. He was attentive and helpful with my questions. E remained helpful and patient The display case was full of desirable cheesecakes. I ordered the Turtle cheesecake. I opened the container and the sweet smell of deliciousness lured me into takinng my first bite!! The fork slide right though the cheesecake like a pillowy cloud. The texture was smooth and creamy. The taste was rich and satisfying. It was delicious and worth returning for. I really ejoyed the whole experience!!!! Two thumbs up!!
I was visiting my hometown in March and temptation got the best of me to stop by and purchase a few slices of Kevin's cheesecakes. Desserts are from heaven y'all. ? Better than any other cheesecake I've tasted IN LIFE! Get you some. You will be delighted that you did. ?
We always make a point to stop at this wonderful place! Kevin has a gift of creating a huge variety of very rich, decadent desserts that are very filling (yet makes you crave even more). We buy several different flavors to take home so that we can continue to savor this exceptional treat!
delicious slices! definitely a bit pricey at $9 per slice, but if you're down to splurge then I definitely recommend. lots of negative reviews mention the "rude owner," but honestly it is not that big of a deal. will definitely be back soon!
Been going to this place for years and I can never get enough of their cheesecake. The cherry flavor is one of my faves. Their hours of operation have been limited due COVID, but that doesn't stop me from supporting the local business.
This establishment seems to have polarizing reviews; mostly due to the owner's customer service and store prices/hours. I was in the area looking for something sweet to end my day and walked in without reading any reviews. When I opened the door I was hesitant to step inside, the store looked like it was either undergoing renovations or out of business. In the front window was the remains of an old Clover POS system, boxes sat on top of almost all the tables; the reviews mentioning that the store looks more like a storage room are true. I continued into the store and who I guess was the owner came out from the back to the register to take my order. Our conversation was direct, I asked for the price of a slice and he informed me "$8.95 plus sales tax". I took a minute to look at the variety of cheesecakes and selected the blueberry topped cheesecake. He quickly rang me up and gave me a to-go bag with plastic fork. It was an unexpected experience but the cheesecake was good, if I am ever in the area again I would probably return to try a different flavor.
