I would like to thank everyone who worked last night at Cheddar's for showing up and doing an amazing job. They were short of staff but the service from those who were there was phenomenal! From the hostess to our waitress. Thank you for actually going to work so that we could enjoy and great meal with no complaints. It so rare these days that I had to leave a review.
We had a family dinner at this location last night. Our server and I believe his name was Courtney? Was fabulous! Very sweet and checked on us through out dinner. However the food was horrible!! My husband left his entire dinner sitting on the table. Mashed potatoes I ordered were cold not warm but cold when my dinner arrived. All in all we wasted our money because I couldn’t eat half of mine. The restaurant had no silverware rolled so we were given plastic forks and knives. My husband’s fork bent so he couldn’t even use it. Would never go back jere again!! Absolutely some of the worst food I have tried to eat!
We arrived at 1130 so we were some of the first guests that day. First, the food was good, no problem there. And the service was good. But the restaurant was filthy. From the entry door being dirty to the windows in the entire restaurant. The table needed wiped down as well as the booths (ours had food stuck on the seat). The final straw was the kiosk to check out was miserably filthy, but it left a place to leave a review, which I did similar to this one. And not one word back from management. I won't be back anytime soon.
Had a to go order that took 45 more minutes than what they said. They forgot about my order so I had to go inside where I found 4 other customers having to do the same thing. Once I received my food this was the WORST burger I have ever had. It seemed to be kept in the warmer for way too long. As my bun and the cheese was rock solid and almost hurt to take a bite. And the burger meat itself was was so dry I had to just throw it away. So 45 minutes of waiting for my food and then I had to go home and make another meal. I WOULD RECOMMEND MCDONALDS OR ANY FAST FOOD OVER THIS! Disgrace!
A 30 min wait at 3pm turned into an hour, then once seated in the bar area where there was 1 other occupied table, it took the bartender 15minutes more minutes to take our order. Food came out quickly but was my medium steak was well done and the fried shrimp was room temp. Plenty of other restaurants to choose from in the area, will not go back to this one.

Food is good,portions are big definitely value for money. Service though leaves a lot to be desired. We waited 45 minutes for a table even though the restaurant was less than half capacity, probably lack of staff. Even after we got to our table, drinks took almost 30 minutes to arrive and food about an hour. Waiter never checked on us once, not even to ask if we needed anything or more drinks. Really disappointed with the experience. This could have been a 5 star experience, but unfortunately the service lets it down. They definitely need to sort out the service. Would we come eat her again, unfortunately I cannot recommend it.
This was my second time in 2 weeks trying to have dinner there, I won’t return! Why do you ask for the name and number and never call the customer to say the table is ready! Give lies “45-1 hour wait, waiting on staff to come in” you say that same bull mess every time! Every restaurant is short of staff, come up with another line, tell the truth at least! I’ve taken my money elsewhere each time and their wait time and staff is just the same but the truth & I get a call when my table is ready so that means the tip will be extra nice! Learn how to treat your customers with respect instead of thinking otherwise!
When I tell you we had a great experience at the cordova location. The wait wasn't long for a party of 20...The staff went over and beyond to make sure my daughter had an amazing 18th Birthday. The food came out so fast I was like omg that was fast for a large party. Great food, great experience Amazing servicethey worked as a team..I am forever grateful.Will be returning soon..Thank you Cheddars for going the extra mile to accommodate my family and I.❤❤❤❤❤
My daughter and I were chased outside by waitress Jalicia to ask had we paid for our meals. Absolutely embarrassing. Her reasoning was that the Kiosk doesn’t always process payment, if this is true then that Kiosk needs to be removed from the table before another customer is accused of stealing. Thankfully, I emailed a copy of the receipt to myself to show proof of payment. USED to be one of my favorite restaurants. Never again will we visit another Cheddar’s anywhere.
