We called and made reservations and informed them I had a service dog. Asked for a table that would best accommodate that. We got a sweet spot where my pup and I felt comfortable. That was awesome! Then the waitress told us the menu options. We were there for the meat!!!! Staff was super friendly and communicated our wishes well. Lamb chops all day!!! The food was amazing! I’ve been to Brazilian steak houses and I felt like they were stingy with the good stuff. Not here. We ate until we were uncomfortably full and they kept coming! This was the best meal I’ve had in my life! The staff was kind, funny, understood what we liked and just made it such a great experience. I can’t say enough how awesome it was! The meat coming off the grill we ridiculous. Huge chunks of meat and they even knew how we liked it. Rare!!! I worked in restaurants for years and I recognize a good team. Their staff worked so well together and made us feel special! If you' are in the area this is a must! I would drive 8 hours again to come here. Thank you all for seriously the best meal of my life!!!
Good food and very nice staff. Looked like a family run place. The sauces are amazing. The chili sauce was so good that we asked the recipe. Falafel were nice and crispy. The chicken Phili steak was good but falafel was better.
Beautifully decorated and delicious food. Staff was friendly and attentive. Delicious food: hummus, baba ganoush, tabbouleh, grape leaves, falafel, pita- and that was just the appetizer! They aren't lying about having the best tea in Memphis, I got it iced but it'd be delicious hot, too. We were too stuffed for baklava but it looked great!
The food was memorable. We did take out and the meal was ready when promised. The shawarma and hummus were well-prepared and flavorful, augmented by a spicy house sauce on the side for those who want it.
We were driving through Memphis and wanted to eat Shawarma. We stopped at Casablanca since the reviews on Google were excellent. However, it was not a good experience for us. The waitress was nice, the owner aloof sitting in a corner engrossed in his phone. The food was average. The chicken in the shawarma was dry. The restaurant itself needs a thorough cleaning. The air vents were coated with gunk and the upholstery was dirty. Finally the owner adds 18% gratuity to our bill and there is a section for additional tip. This was a big turn off for us. I gave it a two star simply due to our waitress who was nice.
The owner of this place is the friendliest. Staff is also friendly and prices are reasonable. Interior is decorated beautifully with outdoor dining on the patio. Great place for families and dates. Highly recommend the Sultan Mezza Combo to try all the things, and don’t sleep on the hot sauce. The tea is a must-try!
Two stars for a good tea but everything else was tasteless. Ordered Salmon in entrée and it was bland. It came with rice that had no taste whatsoever. It took 30 minutes for the food to arrive when I was the only person in the restaurant.
I loved the atmosphere of the restaurant. Nice, secluded with a warm feeling. The food was amazing! The owner was very personable with my husband and I. We were laughing and talking as if we've met before. This was my first visit and I loved everything. 5 stars indeed
AMAZING!! Food and service were both top tier. I had the chicken and lamb kabobs and they were phenomenal. Highly recommend this place.
My first time trying this restaurant out with a friend. The service is great, the atmosphere is warm and laid back. The food was just ok. The Kibbeh appetizer was good with the spicy sauce. I had the Lamb Shish kebob for an entree and it came with a yellow rice topped with chunks of potatoes and carrots. It was ok , the lamb was kind of tough but overall great eating experience.
