I've eaten here a few times and everytime the food is so bland, not worth what you pay for it. I've also learned that if the salsa is good the food will be good. The salsa tells it all as it is the wateriest salsa with hardly any tomato or onion. I do believe today was my last visit to Casa Mexicana in Cordova. Taco Bell next door would have been a better choice.
First off, The food was very good. Very authentic. We went near the end of the night so the wait staff was a bit smaller, but our server managed our area very well. Food came out fast, hot, and correct. My family really enjoyed the meal. This is probably the better of the Casa Mexicanas in the city. My daughter loves tacos and we go typically twice to three times a month to one of the 3 restaurants in our city.
Excellent service!! Just ordered the beef flautas. Wonderful. And I don’t care for plain margaritas but for their frozen one and it was perfect. Not watered-down.
The food tasted like it had been sitting out for days, spoiled. We got sick later, never again.
Outstanding enchiladas. I also enjoyed the atmosphere and service.
I picked up lunch and one of the servers clearly saw me but did not acknowledge that I was there. I normally would not say anything negative especially if they had been busy but they were not at all. The server that did acknowledge me was very nice and concerned about the order. So I am happy that there is at least one person there that cares about the customers. Saying hello goes a long way and it does not hurt anyone.
Casa Mexicana is amazing. I have eaten here several times, and every dish I have tried has been amazing. The service is fast, friendly and efficient. The portions are quite large, and I usually have to ask for a takeout box. You can't go wrong with anything on the menu. The prices are very reasonable.

Pretty good Mexican food for Memphis. Portions are very big, so worth the cost.
