Took my grandmother here for mothers day per her request the food was delicious and the customer service was great. I can't remember the name of our pizzas but mines had sausage and pepperoni and I believe my granny's was all meats and we ordered a salad on the side.
After placing our orders and talking amongst ourselves in both a respectful and quiet tone a gentleman walks over, doesn’t say anything to either me or the rest of my party and tells us we have to leave with no context nor warning, and as we were leaving the restaurant, not being difficult nor creating a scene, we were called “thugs”. That term doesn’t fit me or my friends at all and I find it quite racist of him because he only seemed to talk and stare directly at my friends of color. No issues nor complaints were brought to the restaurant workers and him screaming at us to leave and calling us thugs, I would be scared if I was another customer. My friends and I go out to eat multiple times a week and are nothing but respectful to the workers and property. If you act this way to the people who are trying to support your business and tip your workers, your business will NOT last long. Will never try this restaurant again.
Food was amazing (we ordered fried green tomatoes, Hawaiian pizza, pink lemonade, and a soda drink.....i don't remember what the hubs ordered) and the experience was great until the owner started screaming across the restaurant at the only gentleman keeping the whole front end running. Apparently a few potential customers were tired of waiting (totally understandable since it was incredibly busy) however, she had one person building pizza boxes back in a corner who had stacks of boxes already made and was spending more time on their phone than actually doing their job and several others either working 1/4 speed or standing around compared to the gentleman running the whole front end but still busting out food and drinks, bussing tables, helping a large group make room and putting together tables so they could sit together, running the register, putting in orders, refilling drinks, getting to go orders out etc. This man was BUSY but apparently still not good enough for the owner as she screamed across the restaurant and berated this man in front of over 20+ customers. Looking back, I wish I would've said something but was too shocked. It's still no excuse and if he reads this, I'm sorry for not saying or doing something. As for the owner, that behavior is unacceptable and I'm so embarrassed for you. If this is how you treat your employees out in the open, I can only imagine what's being said, how it's said, and what's being done out of earshot of customers.
Quite easily the worst pizza I’ve ever had. Bad service due to understaffing, improperly cooked food, and terrible sanitation. Will never come back. If you want gourmet pizza go somewhere else. Look at the reviews from this month alone. It’s a trainwreck.
Memphis best pizza, i know because i have tried Every pizza place in Memphis and no one in Memphis can beat them in making Pizza
One of the most unique places to eat in Memphis. Wonderful pizza where the cheese is melted over the ingredients instead of underneath. Totally enjoyed the pizza which came out of the oven so hot you had to let it cool before eating. I’ll be back.
Great food but had my debt card used to purchase clothing on line after I left the restaurant a few hours later. Transaction was declined because my bank is on point.Be careful and pay with cash at this location.
My wife and I are here visiting from Atlanta and wanted some good white sauce vegetable pizza and we chose Broadway Pizza in Memphis to satisfy our appetite. Take a look and order your own. You will not be disappointed!
I do not know why this place does not have higher ratings.They pile each pizza with toppings. I love the Meat Lovers and All Pig.Ask for olives and peppers.It will take 45 minutes to 1 hour to cook each pizza.
Avoid at all costs. I told the register that I had to leave in 25 minutes strictly. Made it clear I could come back another time if that wasn't doable. He suggested I get a sausage and pepperoni pizza since I would not have to wait as long. He assured me it would be out before I left. Went with that. Waited half hour for nothing. I hope the homeless person they donate my pizza. Wasted half an hour and money at this place.Don't lie to customers and tell customers they won't have to wait as much when they tell you that they have to leave urgently.
