3 of us wanted to come in for a drink Saturday night. They wanted us to pay 60$ total for just a cover. Ridiculous. Went next door to Silly Goose, which was so much fun.
Don’t waste your time and money. Wait staff couldn’t be bothered to take our order while smoking out front. They advertise happy hour but charge full price. 22.5% gratuity automatically added and no itemized receipt unless you request one. The foods not even worth it. How cool is a speakeasy when they advertise it on the door?
This place has some of the best food around, hands down. The crawish mac and cheese is delicious and the biscuits and gravy is a must try. Cinnamon is an amazing bartender as well! Definitely would come back.
Went on a Friday night for the weekly Burlesque show. Didn't realize that there was a $20 (per person) cover charge, which seems a bit steep. The show didn't start till 10 (though it's advertised as 9). The band was great, and girls put on a good show (especially Valentina).The drinks were pretty unimpressive, even their "signature drinks" straight off their drink menu. Service was also slow, as others have mentioned.I wish I could come back and see the Burlesque show again, but I won't, due to the high cover charge and lackluster drinks/service.
Horrible service. Took 20 before we got service. Then literally watched the server go take a smoke break with a friend before ever going inside to put in my order. The menu clearly states $4 house wine from 3pm-6pm but then when getting the check the house wine (bota & black box) was $10! Not to mention my risotto tasted like bland mac and cheese (if it's even possible to make rice taste like mac n cheese). One last note, if your check is unexpectedly astronomical high, it's because of the 20% gratuity and 2.5% credit card fee that is added to the check.
Although I love the ambiance here and really enjoyed it as a late night spot in the past, today we had brunch here and I was disappointed. Their menu was very (very) limited. Which, I do understand but it was crazy limited. My fiancé got the breakfast burrito and it was mainly eggs and potatoes and had very little protein. Just overall, I wouldn’t recommend it as the spot for brunch. But definitely seems like a cool place to be for a night cap.
This is a SpeakEasy. You have to pay a cover if you do not have the password.They have poker games here some nights. We came on a night when they had a DJ. Music was ok, food was ok, drinks were good.Pretty small place that needs more seating.
If I could give negative stars I would. Here I sit in this restaurant still hungry. I have ordered food only to receive cold food, excuses and a bill. I ordered over two hours ago. The food came after an hour and to my chagrin it was cold. I talked to the waiter and he took my food back to the kitchen. I sat another hour and finally asked about my food. I am told that the cook was sick and the waiter got jumped trying to receive my fries! I cannot make this up!! Now they are telling me the kitchen is closed and they have given me a bill for my food with an automatic 20% gratuity. If you come by this restaurant please keep walking!!! YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!
The food here is absolutely amazing! The owner and her staff we very accommodating and I can’t wait to go back.
Extremely poor service took an hour and half to get or food and then mine was unedible due to it tasting like a bottle of salt . Everytime we needed something we found ourselves standing trying to get the waiters attention Then the server added another tables bill to our ticket and it took him 20 minutes to correct that and as if that was not enough our bill was 149.00 but ended up paying 200 because there was a gratuity added at yhe regiser that was not on the bill brought to the table ... but trust I will be disputing the charges with my bank first thing in the morning. This was one of the most worst dinning experiences I've ever had in a very long time . I was so disappointed and hungry!
