So we were greeted at door. 30-40min wait, but we snagged a place at the Bar. Server was friendly-Prompt and kept our coffee full. Ordered the Breakfast Skillet, a Pancake and order of Biscuit and gravy. Confused a little bit…if you order the Biscuits and gravy it is $6.50. If you order a biscuit and gravy from the “Sides”, they are $2/each. Regarding biscuits. I see some biscuits that appear big and fluffy and described like that. Maybe they changed recipe as ours were far from “fluffy”. All the food taste great tho and is priced about like most other “breakfast” places besides Waffle House. The 3 egg breakfast skillet was great. Total Bill with gratuity $35 and some change. Also, gratuity of 18% was already included on the ticket. Not sure what that is all about, but it is what i would have tipped. So it was a good dining experience..was I Blown away? Nah…but only so many ways you can dress up eggs!
Food and Service absolutely amazing. I had the shrimp and grits with a side of bacon. My fiance had the steak and eggs. We didn't too much enjoy the iced latte and they where kind enough to take it off our ticket. Definitely recommended and will return to taste the rest of the menu.
Food was great once received. The wait between the time we placed our order and actually received it was about 45 min. This seemed excessive for pancakes and an omelet. But it was good
Ordered pickup with the family Sunday! First time finding out about this place! Biscuit was soft and tasty eggs fluffy! I also had grits but I was full from the sandwich alone! My son had the chicken tenders I love the breading but maybe cook lil longer inside. I will be dining in soon!
great food and great service
Super disappointed in customer "service". We arrived one hour before closing and was told the wait list was closed and they wouldn't be seating anyone else. No one was waiting and there were open tables. So... ?♀️
Awesome biscuits!
I went in for steak and eggs but as I sat and watched the food being delivered to tables, I changed my mind at least 4 times. Bar Hostess/Bartender Crystal gave some help and final suggestion was shrimp and grits. Shortly after, the GM Tish came and asked what I decide..I told her then she mentioned red sauce and egg...I was looking crazy again but she guaranteed I would like it and suggested the margarita which was good too. I've never had shrimp and grits with red sauce yet alone an egg but trust me when I say they blessed my entire being! Alot of flavor and enough to take some away. Pancake was good also. Service and food was exceptional! I had no wait but the place gets crowded quickly. Highly recommend
Great breakfast. Prices are reasonable. Once we got a seat service was excellent. The country ham was as salty as I was expecting. Bacon was thick cut and spicy. Pancakes were fluffy and delicious. Chicken an waffles were awesome. Go early as this place fills up quick on weekends.
So here's the thing: the food is pretty good. I really enjoyed my chicken and waffles, which were nice and crispy and well seasoned. The biscuits are fluffy and flakey, though they have a strong buttermilk flavor, which isn't everyone's cup of tea. The OJ also appears to be genuinely freshly squeezed, which is always a winner for me. But y'all, our party of three waited an hour to be seated, and I'm just not sure it was worth the hassle. Though they typically let you use an online service to get in line ahead of time, they removed that option on the day of our visit. There's not a lot of room to hang out while you wait, either. They are clearly short-staffed; I saw many tables where everyone was finished with their meal sitting around and waiting for the check. Our server was very kind and helpful, and took the time to answer questions about the menu and make suggestions, but I'm guessing she was doing the work of two or three people. Unfortunately, I don't think I'll be back, at least not until they are more adequately staffed or the hype dies down. There are cheaper, quicker places to get a nice breakfast on a Saturday morning in Memphis.
