Every time I go to this location ( closest to my house) no one’s at the pick up window, extremely slow… end up waiting for a while and unprofessional… not very good management- this time they had a shift change- wish they said how long… it’s always disappointing at this location
Today I had the most pleasant experience at BYB… ever! The gentleman that took my order was kind, professional, and attentive. My food was so hot and delicious! I normally can’t eat a double bounce burger but I was famished and I’m glad my meal exceeded my expectations! The food and customer service did NOT disappoint! I wish I’d gotten the name of the gentleman that took my order; he definitely deserves recognition!
We initially went to the one in Germantown they had no fries and onion rings offered us macaroni and cheese as a substitute. Who does that? Macaroni and cheese does not go with a burger. Then we went to the one on poplar and even though it took them a long time to place the order and get it ready it was hot and it had good flavor. It still does not talk into my best burger place yet in Memphis which has not been found yet. It has been almost a year and I still say Memphis does not know how to make burgers, Freddy's is the closest to a great burger they have and that's merely because of the order that they put the burger together. The backyard Burger was dry a little but it was okay
First time visiting this restaurant , the food was fresh and hot. And the service was fast. I was missing a order of French fries, I would still visit again!!
Another over priced, underwhelming, restaurant here in Memphis! There seems to be quite a few of those here...still haven't found a good burger yet!
I got the black bean burger combo. The seasoned fries and strawberry lemonade were great. The burger was dry. Needs some kind of sauce.
Clean restaurant. Great burgers. They are soft and juicy when you bite into them and the bacon was crispy not burnt. Very Friendly staff every time I come here …. Excellent customer service …Always a wonderful experience. Always a long line, but it moves very quickly.
They literally say they are doing shift change at 4 pm and just don’t work. They close whenever they want at this location. Probably need to hire more staff bc it makes no sense how they run this business. They also can’t tell you when they will be ready to take orders.
Food itself was decent but at first they didn't want to make milkshakes. When i mentioned calling the owner if lost revenue they made one, but it was expired. Calling the manager for refund....
The service was good. And was excited to eat my burger with my strawberry milkshake. I bit into a lukewarm yet juicy burger. But that was ok because it was prepared as requested. So I was going to settle for what I'm not used to with Backyard Burger - subpar food. I picked up my cup ready to drink my shake just to find the shake was all in my cup holder and all over me because there was a hole in the bottom of the cup. I immediately tried calling multiple times got a recording that hung up on me before I could leave a message. So I came home microwaved my burger and fries YUK! And had to drink some water. But what's worse than no milkshake and a dried out tough burger and rubbery fries was management not wanting to know about the food they're serving. If they did they would allow customers an opportunity to voice their satisfaction or dissatisfaction. Backyard Burger what's going on? This is not what you do!
