Ive been trying to get here for awhile. I was so excited to be there !Cate was my waitress and she was amazing!!!! The excited I came with was boosted up with her as my waitress. She had the best suggestions I tried a bubble bath, key lime pie (two, omg it's sooooo good), Georgia Peach ? ?, Banana ? Foster.I ate Cooconut shrimp, Buffalo egg rolls and spinach dip. Everything was good, food hot, presentation on ?. The people were friendly and happy to be there. I love it all I'll be back for Brunch! I have not one complaint.
I had breakfast in this characterful bar/restaurant. Bloody Mary was first rate. I ordered a breakfast sandwich and bowl of fruit salad. Both were excellent. Service was cheerful and efficient.
Oddly in this area there are very few places to do brunch that we could find… so we came here 2 days in a row. The first thing that stood out is the friendly service, it was a bit slooooooooow our second day there BUT there were only two young ladies handling WAY more tables than they should. The folks line up for this place, so expect to wait. Food is okay. I had the breakfast casserole/bacon day 1 and Blueberry Pancakes day 2. Both were good, it was a little frustrating when I ordered my bacon crispy and it was brought out very lightly cooked. What was frustrating was being asked by that server why it was not crispy enough (like my expectations were too high?). Again, the food is okay, but nothing special. Maybe we are brunch snobs, just seemed pretty standard here.
We popped in needing a snack and cocktail. Fun vibe. 80s music. Our server Dee was very nice. The food was quite tasty.
Good food, friendly service. The cinnamon roll waffles didn't have cinnamon though the cream cheese topping was tasty. They forgot silverware and we had to flag someone down after we had received all the food.
(4.5) haven't been here in a long time, but it was as good as my memory. Not crowded at all on a Tues evening. Our server & bartender, Katy (?) was great! The southern fried chicken picatta was wonderful. Chicken was tender, tasty and the caper sauce terrific. The blue cheese mash potatoes had just a hint of blue cheese so if you are worried about the flavor it is very minimal. I personally would have liked a bit more of the flavor.side dishes: the hushpuppies were good. really appreciated the chunks of onion & kernels or corn. Mac & cheese was supercheesey, gooey and the macaroni was tender. The bacon flavor came thru but the truffle not so much (just a hint like the blue cheese in the potatoes). I know it is hard to adjust flavors for each person. If you like just a hint then it is perfect, i would have preferred a bit more of the truffle.Overall wonderful evening. Great music. Staff was on point. Definitely won't wait as long to go back.
It's ok. Had brunch and was a bit surprised by long wait for food (maybe a half full restaurant) that was simple but good. Nothing really special. Better options around
We chose this restaurant because it came recommended online and we enjoyed the food. The service and personality of Jalieesa made it even more memorable. Beautiful building and fun vibe. Plus $3 mimosas and Bloody Marys at brunch!
Highly unrecommended! The INSIDE of my chicken was pink. When I asked for a manager, he came over and dissected my chicken with his bare hands while my plate was still in front of me, trying to explain that it was raspberry butter. Not once did he apologize or try to make up for that the chicken was uncooked. The group sitting next to me ordered the exact same thing as me and had no red. The manager then tried to say the butter sunk through the chicken… He then proceeds to bring out a container from the kitchen, which is unsanitary, trying to show me raspberry butter. I asked to speak to another manager and somebody else came over. That manager said himself that the chicken was not done! The owners brother then comes out, and still tries to justify that it was “butter”. This was unacceptable and horrible service and undercooked food.
We got Sunday brunch. It was perfectly adequate, but nothing really stuck out. The food was good, but not great. The Bloody Mary was good but not great. We were seated on a shared bench right next to a couple of other diners, who wanted to converse. Some people might enjoy this feature, but I'd rather not have a conversation with strangers during my meal. Overall, a fine experience.
