No greetings upon entry. When we were seated the table wasn't wiped down. I asked the host if we could get a wipe down. He walked away and a waitress asked "is there a problem?" "No, problem, just need a table wipe down." She rolled her eyes (not at us, but at the host) and made him wipe it down (like she has had this problem before from him). Food was sub par. All around, not a great experience.
There were many open tables but insufficiently staffed. The manager brought us our salads but I had no dressing. He sat those salads down and turned around and walked away.We finally got our beverages when I waved to a waitress. Twelve minutes later we got our food. The burger was good but the fries were under cooked.Overall, our waitress apologized because she had disappeared. The people never stopped coming in and I gave some mother's day candy and the Mr. took care of the tip.
Look at the steak and you tell me how it looks. It’s one of their expensive Bourbon steak which has to come on a skillet, but they decided to serve on a cold plate without even bothering to inform us. This dish comes with mushrooms, but you will have better luck finding Waldo than mushrooms on my plate. ?Also, the ambience looked so dull that for a moment I thought if something was wrong.I like the food at Applebee’s, but this branch needs to improve.
It was horrible!! They took forever to actually come to greet us and anyone else who came in. It took like 30 minutes before we got seated. That's when we realized they only had 2 waitresses. If you weren't sitting at the bar area you couldn't order an alcoholic beverage at a booth or table because the waitress said someone broke all the glasses they use for alcohol. It took forever to get sweet tea, water, etc. When the appetizers came, the spinach dip was watery and had chunks of mushrooms in it. The wings barely had meat inside. When everyone at the table got their Entrée none of it was right. This restaurant experience was horrible and probably the worst I've seen or been to. I definitely would not recommend going here
I will never give this applebees another chance! I don't know what is going on but they need to shut this location down and train the workers how to do their jobs! Ordered online for curbside only to get there and have to go inside anyways after working 12 hours because they don't answer the phone. Get inside and see about 7 workers walking around looking confused and not acknowledging the people waiting to talk to somebody about their to go orders. Found out the girl working the bar is actually the manager..she walked past about 10 times without saying anything to us. The only reason she did say something was because she made an announcement to doordash and uber eats drivers that they are out of shrimp for their customers orders and I took the chance to ask about my order. I told my name to 3 other workers after I gave if to the manager and still didn't get an answer or my food! After being there about an hour I finally get my food and the riblets had no sauce at all and I ordered extra sauce and I was missing a side. Waited about 15 more minutes for that! This is the 3rd time I have tried to give them a chance because they are the only location close to me and they have blown it! Very unprofessional and unbothered! Shut this location down or get new staff members! They make Applebees look horrible! Will continue to go to tge location in Southaven, MS even though I live near the Union location! Sad!!!
So I’m a little disappointed my husband and I love Applebees we have been going for years we are from Idaho and just moved to Tennessee this was our first visit to this location we were so excited to go and the service was absolutely horrible and they were not even busy we waited so long for our change to come back that we got tired and left waited forever for our drinks and food it was just lousy service never have I had such bad service at a Applebees in Idaho and we would go on busy football nights and still got better service the only reason why I gave a 3 star was because of the food it was good like Idaho but that’s all I don’t think we will be eating Applebees again till we move back to the North West
I ordered my food online no problem,the problem started when I pulled up and sat outside for 15 minutes,so I decided to call to let someone know I was outside but no one picked up the phone. Also when I got my order to the house that's when I discovered I didn't have my whole order,I didn't have my chicken that I order but they definitely took my money. Word to the wise check your food before you leave the restaurant.
This place has really gone down hill. Placed an online order for carside to go and had to go in because no one comes out anymore. Came inside and no one is even acknowledging the customers waiting for placed orders. The place literally only had 1 couple dining in so I have no idea why the wait is so long. There are also 2 guys laying in one of the booths sleeping. Not sure I'd they're workers or not. Unless you feel like just sitting for a long time, don't even bother coming here. ??
I ordered the riblet plate. And only received 2 small ringlets with a small amount of BBQ sauce on it. I asked the server why I only received 2 riblets when it was 3 in the picture of the menu I ordered from. She stated the pictures were incorrect and you only get 2. I was confused as to why Applebee's would advertise 2 of 27 with the pictures of what you are getting and that not what you receive when you get your order. I was never asked did I need a refill on the soda..I had to ask for a straw 3 times for my soda. Food cold and service is horrible. Never again
I'm having a really good experience. It's clean and a nice temperature inside. There's like 8 different TVs so you can enjoy the game from any angle. My margaritas was good and the appetizer came out before our food. I'm thoroughly able to enjoy the of my friend I brought with me tonight. S/O to Ivan our waiter
