This is simply the best real Mexican food in Blount County. There are 4 items on the menu. Tacos, Burritos, Quesadillas and Tortas. The Steak Quesadilla is superb! Everything I have eaten here is 5 stars. Absolutely delicious! I gave the rating of 4 stars due to the atmosphere inside the restaurant being a bit drab, and the fountain drink machine always being out of order. That aside, this place is well worth the trip. Don't hesitate to eat here.

Unfortunately, I came because another reviewer said this place has the best tacos in Tennessee. Fool me once. It's not. Owner, please provide further training on health practices, communication, and service. The cashier/cook (hijo/abuelo?) situation was a sad, hot mess. As far as the food, flavorless like the others mentioned, menu lacking - I'll stop before this becomes a full blown rant. Saying it's okay versus dislike because it's better than getting sick from fast food.
Stopped here on a whim and got 3 asada tacos for $8.25. They were pretty good. The green mild sauce was an amazing addition to the taco. Service was great and friendly. I would definitely come back and bring a friend too!
Asada, pollo, and carnitas tacos were good and quickly prepared, but were missing the spice to make them great. The 'hot' sauce has a nice kick to it.
This is a great little hole in the wall ran by a family. The food is authentic and the best tacos you’ll get in East Tennessee. We loved the atmosphere too! We will be back soon, can’t recommend enough.
Excellent service and great tasting food evertime. Even went one night when we thought the place was open came to find out they was closing yet they insisted on still serving us and the food was good then aswell.
Tacos are pretty close to Cali as you can get!!! Asada was seasoned great!!! Super friendly and quick!!
This is my second review for this place they took my first one down :). It’s the worst Mexican “restaurant” around. To start things off I saw the cook talking on his cell phone with dirty greasy gloves. He then prepared food with the same gloves?. The steak burrito was bland. It tasted as if the steak was reheated from the day before. If you’re wanting Mexican food go to literally any other Mexican restaurant, heck Taco Bell is better!
This restaurant should be packed, all day.The food is so fresh,cooked in front of you in minutes.Authentic and so delicious .I am a taco lover and can't get enough.Steak and chicken.Very nice people own it.
