My family has been coming to the governors for 8 years now, the kids an grandkids absolutely love it. But this year the outside hottub wasnt heating properly. It was not even lukewarm an when I ask about the problem, the staff were very short with me an told me to go to the inside that one was working. I pretty much live in the outside hottub, watching my grandchildren play, while I'm at the resort, an quit frankly for the amount of money we spend for the 2 bedroom suites we stay in, I was very dissatisfied with not only the working conditions and the lack of concern to resolve the problem. But also while at the outside pool their seemed to be little to no supervision by the life guards. Children running around the pool area, also kids sliding down the slides one rite after another, one even sliding into my two year old granddaughter causing her to turn side ways an she struck her head on the slide. Children bringing floats from the lazy river into the hottub. While lifeguards sat where the drink machines an towels are kept. I really dont know if it's worth the money or time considering it seems to be getting worse every year. So sad that we are even having to consider not returning to what used to be our favorite vacation spot. But these are just a few of the unacceptable an unfortunately unchanging conditions year after year at your facility.
It is hard to know how to rate this review. We eat here periodically and it is always food and fast. The only problem this visit was how packed it was! Not a single parking spot available. Entire section ropes off. Not sure why. I think it was our timing to be fair. We were late getting supper on a stressful day. We could have parked and walked and eaten at the tables outdoors, but they were booming busy. Opted to go elsewhere and found situation no better two additional places tried. So I think that says bad timing for us and that they must be doing something right to be so busy!
This Sonic was trying to survive a rush. So, some understanding was needed. Though the burgers were all overcooked, the wrong size straws(too small) given, & not enough pickle fries were added to our pickle burgers. The family didn't get the Intended sonic experience as promised. Definitely a disappointing experience. The staff running the orders were doing a great job hustling.
I got there at 9:40PM the other night, ordered a large onion ring, corn dog and a drink. I asked for ketchup and mustard when i ordered, it even showed it on the screen. they turned the lights off at 9:50, i got my food around 9:53. no ketchup or mustard in the bag. i push the button again, the girl rudely comes on and says “we are closed”, i said “can i get some ketchup please” she cut me off and turned the mic off. i pressed it again, she declined it. i pressed it a third time and she yells, “we are closed”. Maybe they should read the order and have everything in the bag.
The one on 321 by the Food Lion and Cherokee St. Has always been a great place to get Mozz Sticks, tater tots and a Chili Cheese hotdog.
Restrooms are closed because of covid?!? So I can't clean my hands before eating? Gross. No thanks def not eating here.
Super friendly staff! Normally quite fast, however, I did wait for a while this time around. 15 minutes after the button was pressed before I got an answer that said I'll be with you in a few minutes. Short staffed like everyone nowadays.
Good but I try to avoid eating here due to not being able to put a tip for the servers on my card. I rarely keep cash on me and if I do it's not much so I'm limited to how much I can get so that I can make sure to have enough for a tip.
Always enjoy coming with my friend after class. On the off-chance they mix/mess up your order, they fully replaced our entire order and added some coupons to apologize. The staff was super kind and it really made it feel like an inviting place to be at, something I feel doesn't get taken into account often enough when considering typical fast food dining experiences. They're doing a wonderful job :)
The young lady that delivered the order to me was so nice. An Uber order that I was scheduled to deliver. I am very thankful for her kindness.
