Food on the bar was cold but old and over cooked. Something I think was a crab cake was nothing more than generic stove top fried patty. Mash potatoes tasted like the cardboard box they came out of. The fried shrimp had no shrimp...it had been fried to oblivion and only the breading was left with the tail shell. Everyone at our table was disgusted. We paid our bill and left Hungary. We went somewhere else and ate. This was the worst Shoneys ever!! Waitresses we're a joke. I spent 27 yrs as a quality assurance mgr in restaurant franchise. Retraining staff finding theft and fixing stores in chrisis. This store needs restructured. This was pitiful! Not the usual Shoneys at all.
I'm giving this place 2 stars because our waitress was so sweet. But this is just over priced cafeteria food... not only was the choices for a buffet so limited, but the food tasted like it was all canned or boiled. Save your money

The waitresses was very polite and was very happy to see me. I've seen other buffet style restaurants and the wait staff are not nice, they portray lots of times the customer is the problem and they let you know really quick your not wanted. This Shoney's definitely had a very inviting and welcoming atmosphere. The food on the buffet was very tasteful and delicious, like someone was very caring about fixing the food. I was very surprised to see meatloaf and stake on the buffet, I haven't seen meatloaf or stake on a buffet in a long time. Thank you Shoneys for a wonderful experience.
We eat here every 1-2 weeks for the last 3 months.Friendly energetic staff, good food you can always count on, and just great people and atmosphere. Sugee and Austin did great tonight, but we've not had a staff member that wasn't good at thier job.America at its best, no pretentious bs, just a hardy meal and good service!
The food was delicious. It's sad that their menu has been reduced by the supply chain issues like a lot of other restaurants. The service was excellent also.
This place is my go to for any meal but it's usually breakfast ? for me.The food is always fresh and All of the servers are very friendly.
Very welcoming! Sugee is a sweetie. Maybe I didn't see it but I wish they had some grilled chicken at the salad bar.
We don’t have a Shoney’s in Memphis, TN anymore & we miss eating there. This one had Great food & our service was excellent!
It was a nostalgia visit. We haven't seen one in a very long time. Stopped for the bar. Restaurant was average on cleaning. It's just very aged. Food on the bar was okay... Everything sits in the heat so quickly over cooks. Wait staff was very friendly. Easy interstate access.
