I really like the Popeye's spicy chicken sandwiches a lot. We go through the drive thru after work and get them. They are the best chicken sandwich out there. Love me some red beans & rice or mashed potatoes & cajun gravy as a side. It might not be a high end restaurant but that sandwich is good. The drive thru is quick and the staff is friendly and accurate.
I have always loved Popeyes but I will have to really think about ever going back to this location. The chicken was very tiny pieces, very dry as in overcooked and I could not even eat the first layer of meat under the skin, it was like shoe leather! I tried to go inside but as soon as I opened the door someone came out and said, sorry, the lobby is closed, drive thru only. Then why was the door unlocked???
I see why the line is always long and slow now. The line will be wrapped around the building and you go inside to see the workers stuck in snail mode. The workers are never in any hurry to tend to orders (besides the cook in the back). You have one worker with long blonde hair who is too busy texting on their phone right behind the counter instead of bagging a simple order. The same worker feels the need to let put a huge sigh anytime an order pops up on the screen (it could be the ONLY order up there). These workers need a pep talk or some kind of encouragement if you want to keep this place in tip-top shape. I’ve worked at a Chick-fil-A so I know what it’s like to really work understaffed during rush hours and still manage to keep up.I believe a manager showed up and she started pushing orders out pretty fast and kept the others on task.
Don’t waste your time on this place. They forgot one of my meals and won’t pick up the phone. I can’t go back because they closed early and now I’m left without a meal. Called multiple times and no one answered. Thanks for ripping me off.
Very disappointed! First chicken was lukewarm at best! Second part of my order was 4 piece all dark meal and what I received is 2 dehydrated wings, one very over cooked dry breast and a partial thigh so someone didn’t read the order because it is clearly on my receipt! Coleslaw was chunky not good and potatoes cold as well and $30 later one very unhappy brand new customer!! Broke breast and wings open so you could see how OVER COOKED the wrong chicken really was.
Girl at the window was unprofessional and rudely loud talking with the cook and supervisor. I love ordering from apps but don’t suggest using it for ordering ahead at Popeyes. It just doesn’t seem to work out for me. But the food was good and eventually got my order!!!!
I am so very blessed to still have my 84 year young mom and 87 year young dad with me these days. We do " love that chicken from Popeyes " . My dad and I love the hot chicken ?.. I am so very proud of them for being a shining example of what commitment means. They are going to celebrate 67 years of marriage ? in April,and I will celebrate 34 years with my beautiful wife. I pray that my family will be able to enjoy Popeyes for many more years to come.
The best place for chicken in the area. The food is great. The staff is friendly and efficient. Very clean place. I highly recommend it.
Was a very short wait time in line which was wonderful.The window person was very nice and handled our transaction quickly and we were on our way.And my granddaughter enjoyed her meal very much.
The way most places are understaffed these days whenever we get food we know it's usually going to be time consuming. This was such a lovely experience! Our food was fresh, labeled, well packed. Service was fast and the staff was very polite.
