The service was wonderful and the food was absolutely incredible. I had the fish sandwich and fries. The sandwich was an entire catfish filet. It was huge. I count finish the entire meal. It was that huge. Good food, fair prices and great service. It won't ever get any better!
I have had great cheeseburgers, open faced roast beef and fish here. Staff is very prompt and food comes out when it should. A great place to eat and great service. A definite stop in.
I’m sorry. I’d really like to support this local restaurant close to my home. The service is friendly. The food is not good. We’ve gone 5x and only once was the food (burgers) ok. But the next time we got burgers they were way over cooked and the buns stale. The chicken is dry. The roast beef is tasteless with what I’m sure is a canned gravy. Other items just slathered with bottled bbq sauce. I keep thinking “maybe it was an off day”….but after 5x, probably not the case.
Food was great. More than enough for a lunch meal. I had a grilled chicken with bake beans & Mac cheeseMy son had 1/2 rack of ribs pinto beans & a salad. We both walked away stuffed. He actually couldn't eat all his ribs, brought them home , good for leftovers too I'm sure. Ice tea was good to. Good atmosphere, friendly servers. Will definitely go back.
Always love Jake's Place! Ribs were so tender and delicious. And enough left over to take home. Three of us shared a hot fudge cake. Jake's Place has the best hot fudge cake I've ever tasted!
Food was delicious!! Husband isn’t a small man he ordered the full rack and he had to have a to-go box!! We most definitely will be back

I tried the half slave of ribs, but someone nxt to me got the bbq nachos. I’ll go that route next time,. To much fat for me, the pic is half of a half. I just didn’t get any flavor. First time visit. I had fried potatoes and water $15.30 to give you a idea.
So glad we went here for something new. Prices are reasonable in comparison to the amount of food you get. Ribs, Steak Alfredo, BLT, Fried Chicken Salad, Fried Green Tomatoes, Fried Mushrooms, and desserts were all so delicious!!! Definitely going back to try more soon.
Great and friendly service, and excellent food. I had the hamburger steak with mashed potatoes and brown gravy. The only negative was that they charged extra to use a credit card.
