Some of the food was over cooked and the service wasn't the best but I reckon the kid tried probably won't be going back anytime soon
Even though ovens were running slow, the food was delivered more quickly than anticipated. It was delicious as always. They put up a sign alerting us to the oven issue. I'm glad we decided to stay.
AMAZING!! We had the Gondolier special and the coconut cream cake. The complimentary bread sticks and dipping sauce were also delicious!! Wonderful service and super low prices!! Thank you!
Food is decent. Staff is not friendly at all. I guess the young girl up front was having a bad day but she was not a pleasant person to deal with. I rarely go here and I was picking the order up for family so I don’t know the menu. Either the order was wrong or they got it wrong, but I politely tried to correct it. The worker had a bad attitude when I didn’t know the difference of the salads (sorry, I don’t work there). Even after being polite to her you could tell she didn’t want to be polite back and was rolling her eyes. We all have bad days but if I wanted overpriced food and poor service, I would have went to Arby’s and they would’ve at least gotten my order right the first time. I don’t recommend at all.Edit: She said my dad ordered a Cesar salad… he didn’t. I told her two Greek salads and I somehow got a Greek salad (has no meat) with grilled chicken on it?
We tried their stir fry for the first time. I got chicken & my husband got shrimp. The flavor was great & there was enough to take home. My only somewhat negative comment is that it was so salty I couldn't eat much.
I normally rite a review if I am very happy or very disappointed with a meal I get. And today I am sorry to say I am very disappointed with my meal at Gondolier.My meal of choice was a gyros plate. I had ordered it many times before so I thought I knew what I was getting. The salad part was much smaller then the dinner salad that came with my friends dinner. My gyros meat was raw and my onion rings had oil pour out of it when I bit into it. The waitress came out and said the owner could not help on the onion rings because the fryer oil was bad would I like a different side. I said nope I was good. When she brought back the gyros meat she also brought more onion rings that looked more oily then the 1st order. The gyros meat was still raw. I understand any one could have had a bad day but the way it went down totally turned me off towards wanting to eat there again. So no I would not recommend this restaurant
This is my favorite "visiting home" restaurant! I loved it growing up, now I crave it every time I'm visiting my family. Their bread sticks are my favorite. I don't really like red sauces, but their marinara has such good flavor and is super smooth. Food always comes out quickly and well-made. The servers and hosts are always kind and accommodating. It just feels so homey, and the protons are MASSIVE! My favorite meal is the Veal Roma...delicious! Everything they make is stellar...can't go wrong!
The staff is amazing. Very friendly and efficient. The food was awesome. The cheese tortellini was really good but I could have made a meal of the bread sticks alone. They are that good. There was a little bit of a wait between being seated and having my order taken but I didn't mind as they were really busy. Honestly I expected my wait to be longer than it was. It was a comfortable atmosphere. Very clean. Any complaint I'd have is not really significant enough to warrant a mention. I definitely recommend this place.
Very great food and service. Awesome cakes to choose from for dessert. You can actually bring your own wine and they provide glasses. Excellent place to dine and you will definitely bring home leftovers. Negatives: the booth seats are worn out and could be up graded and some of the bathroom stalls showed rust/decay but were very clean.All in all, you will not be disappointed in choosing Gondolier for lunch or dinner.
Wow! Just wow! The homemade marinara sauce was amazing. Their food is delicious. The service was exceptional. Definitely would recommend it to anyone who comes to Maryville.
