We visited for our anniversary based on the strong recommendations from the Knoxville Eats group, and FMC did NOT disappoint. Our server Zoe was phenomenal and the food and atmosphere was great! We shared several appetizers, the truffle fondue, goat cheese tart, and curried meatballs. and shared the entree of ribs....everything was wonderful!
This place is so great. Service and atmosphere are top notch. We had the she-crab soup, wedge salad, crab cakes and beef stroganoff and mahi mahi. Everything was delicious and paced for a nice dinner (no rush). Great bourbon selection.
A fantastic dining experience. Great service, fantastic food, good price point. Small dishes given out for free. Comparable to lower level Michelin guide restaurants. Would love to come back!
Our first time here…worth the 45 minute drive from Pigeon Forge. We’ve been to many fine dining restaurants but this one was one of the absolute best! Beautiful restaurant, elegant but not pretentious. Very unique menu with many delicious sounding dishes. We thoroughly enjoyed every single bite from the Truffle Fondue to the Spicy Fried Mississippi Quail to our salads to the delicious soft bread to our entrees (Beef Wellington and the Redfish). Everything was seasoned perfectly and cooked perfectly and even timed perfectly. We were never rushed and the food came out at perfect intervals. Our waitress, Zoe, was wonderful! I just can’t say enough about our dining experience here! We can’t wait to come back when we’re in the area again!
What there was a large group. Didn’t know what to expect. Had the quail as an appetizer- amazing! Baby back ribs for the main course. Awesome! Service was fantastic! The food was outstanding. They really went out of their way to do a great job for us. Will be back!
We are frequenters of Foothills Milling Company and have had most things on their menu. We consistently leave thinking it was the best meal of our life! I would put Foothills Milling up against any restaurant in Manhattan. While this restaurant is on the higher end for the area, we still feel like our dollars go farther at Foothills Milling than any of the local, higher end competitors. We are comfortable trying dishes we would not normally order because the food is so consistently delicious. It is obvious they use fresh ingredients, excellent chefs, and have a well trained wait staff.
Last night, I took friends who were visiting from Germany for dinner their last night in town. As we say, save the best for last! I did. My friends thoroughly enjoyed the atmosphere, food and the excellent service. The wife had the Grouper (my favorite), he had the Duck and I had the Red Fish. Each was prepared and presented beautifully. We all enjoyed our meals. In fact, the husband said that it was the best meal he had in the last ten years! That why it remains my favorite place to dine in Maryville.
Food was absolutely amazing. Everything we ordered was perfect. My husband had the corn crusted mahi-mahi I had the venison it was cooked perfect. UghhmazinggggWe will be back for another visit.Wine was also amazinggg
We celebrated my husband’s birthday. This was the 3rd time we ate dinner there. We live in Lenoir City and have explored other options in Knoxville for a “white table cloth” experience and this so far is our favorite. You receive a complimentary appetizer from the chef and wonderful sour dough and herbal bread. Before your main course you get a lovely lemon sorbet to “cleanse your palate”. The beef cheeks are the best. Desserts are homemade. Standards of service and quality of food are very high!
Food is fantastic absolutely worth the price. Steaks are prepared souvide and amazingly tender and delicious. I love that they tell you on the menu how it's gonna be cooked ie medium rare. So you don't ruin what the chef is putting out. The meat loaf with braised short rib inside was legendary. The bread that they give you to start off sets the mood that this kitchen knows exactly what it is doing. We ordered a few drinks I would highly recommend that cherry burbon sour. It's fine dining expect 30-50 a head. Again worth it, sometimes you go for a fancy meal and think I could have saved myself the money but no joke this place is worth every penny and I would go here over Ruth Chris, Morton's or any other steak house and the proce ia better. I love that the plates also come with amazing delicious sides. Added a picture of the cobbler and drinks. If you are celebrating, treating yourself or just want a fantsic meal don't overlook this gem in Maryville.
