First time eating here. Order was taken by a great young lady with the right mindset for customer service bur the food was not good. The order was also incorrect by the people in the back because the receipt was accurate. The fries were stale and the milkshake is the same texture as ice cream if not more frozen. Meaning I could not enjoy it with a straw. Also portions for the fries and onion rings are a joke. 4 onion rings is not a side.
Y'all, this place is really going to hell. It used to be one of the best places to eat in Maryville, especially for the price, but these days it's always something...making it subpar at best and gross at worst. The only thing they have going for them even somewhat consistently these days is the shakes. ??♀️they've changed half the menu, and the consistency of the food they serve is non existent. One night it's hot, semi fresh, and pretty delicious...another it's (what should be for chili) burgers, weirdly cold and tasteless fries, and flat soda. I worked here in the past, and it was one of the only places I ate back then...these days, it's just not the same. ?
Slow service (30 minute wait to order, 15 minutes more to get my food), order was shorted, absolutely no willingness to correct said order, just told to get back in line and wait to try again.
This was the first day back to Indoor dining. Most of the food was overcooked. Hot dog bun was dry and fell apart. I had to eat my hot dog with a spoon. I had a walnut shake and the walnuts were mostly still whole.
Cook Out use to be the go to restaurant for burgers. We went today and the quality of the food has dropped. The burger patties were half the size they were pre-covid! They didn't even cover the size of the bun. We got 3 trays with milkshakes and it was over $30. We were very disappointed with our food from Cook Out for the first time. Plus they still didn't have the dining room open.

All other locations are amazing but this is by far the worst. I get a chicken sandwich with lettuce and tomato and the tomato was a good half inch thick and lettuce the size of of my pinky nail. Always give them a chance but they are just stingy w/ food product and not worth what you ask for. So many times they short you w/ horrible quality at this location.
I swore I would never eat cookout again.. but I lied. I gave them one more chance. I'm glad I did. Only complaint is they never have cheese bits. But other than that a great place to eat for little money. Well worth it.
