We made plans to try out Whiskey River Bar and Grill with another couple because I had driven past the establishment a few times before and I saw lots of cars. After checking out the reviews online and their menu four of us decided to go there for dinner on a Wednesday evening around 6 p.m.When we entered the building, immediately we realized it was not Non-smoking which we could handle since it was a large room. We ordered drinks and went towards the back of the bar where we sat in a booth. The bartender was very nice and she said their cook had just left at 5 p.m. and she had to find out if someone else would be in to cook this evening...maybe there would be a cook at 7 p.m. Unfortunately, or fortunately, for us there was no cook coming in that night. We finished our drinks and left to find another place to have dinner.All in all we won't be back to eat there another time because of the smoking, no harm done, we just prefer not to eat in a smoking environment.Whiskey River Bar and Grill looks like it would be a fun night out for a few drinks and a few games of pool and some music.The bartender was very apologetic, but like many establishments, they are shorthanded when it comes to their staffing.It still may be a good place to have some fun on a night out with friends. I wouldn't recommend for family dinner night.
Food was ok, service was rude. If you are not a regular dont go.
A different mixture of people every night, the DJ is top-notch, bartenders will keep you laughing and well hydrated. Pool tables are in good shape, and the food is pretty decent!
This place needs an update! People are rude! Cash ain't it no more! Hassling people on a slow night isn't so smart for your staff. Train them on manners of customer service to new comers.
Great place! Karaoke guy is awesome! Celebrated my birthday here and everyone was great, very friendly environment, I'm trans and I always feel welcome here, best damn bar EVER!
Pool tables are ok they have 4. Shots are very expensive! $10 a shot. Nice place though. I will come back!
It was a fun bar to go into the drinks aren't too expensive and the bartender's are nice
The atmosphere is great. The group there were like a family. They were warm and welcoming as well. The food was great! I had a burger with American, Swiss cheeses, bacon, onion and mayo. I will definitely be back. If you are looking for a laid back atmosphere with delicious food for lunch, Go Here!

They don't have an drink menu, but is an local bar first, don't carry local beers but one. Fried pickles have an good flavor, they don't have an whiskey sauce, (name). Burger well done but had an good taste to the meat even though was order medium. Multiple pool tables very little table seating. So it an local bar, with tables that has an kitchen but nothing to the name of the place. Nice bartender.
